On the hill Karon Resort — Hotel in Karon

We stayed at this hotel for four days. The hotel itself was fine—clean and comfortable—and I recommend booking a room with a sea view. However, we had a serious problem: the Russian guests in the next room. Their school-age children screamed, shouted, and howled until around 1:30 a.m.

Then, when the children finally fell asleep, the mothers would go out on the balcony around 2–3 a.m., smoking and speaking loudly on speakerphone with their husbands. They also watched videos without headphones, as loud as they wanted, right in the middle of the night. Because our balconies were side by side, we could hear everything. We couldn’t keep the window open due to the noise and smoke, so we had to shut it and turn on the air conditioner—but even then, sleeping was almost impossible.

The hotel staff changed our room without any problem, but the polite Thai staff didn’t say anything to the noisy neighbors, likely because Russian tourists are a major source of income. Unfortunately, many Russian tourists behave rudely and without consideration for others.

If you want a peaceful stay, it’s better to choose a more expensive hotel—or avoid...

This place is a joke and booking (dot) com is not allowing reviews for cancelled bookings since they don't want trash places to be ranked badly on their page.

I went to the place, hoping to get a nice bungalow with a view. Turns out the whole place was not maintained for at least 10+ years.

Here a small summary of this place: Room is full of mold Disgusting smell from the AC // mold and very dangerous Rooms look like prison cells, no style and absolute trash in every possible detail. Plants grow randomly so there is no view - never maintained. Bathroom looks like a prison cell. Barely water pressure, stinking water. The bed sheets are also very old

When I told the owner, they did not care at all and started doing tiktok dances instead. This place should be closed down entirely and...

This is a very disappointing place. We will pay quite a high price and get a very low service. The two staff in the front desk were not very friendly. They will clearly let you know that you are bothering them and barely answer your question. In addition, the air conditioning in our room stopped working during one evening and we had to wait until the morning for it to be fixed. Finally, the location of the hotel was not as good as it looks on Google map. Getting in and out of the up hill parking was very challenging and dangerous. Over all, I will not recommend this place as there are many better and friendlyer places to...
