Coast Beach Club & Bistro Phuket — Restaurant in Karon

We tried to get to “coast” beach club but as we only came to Karon beach for a day trip and had not been here before we did not realise that it is attached to the hotel.

We were trying to find the beach club and walked through the hotel where the man pictured told us to leave immediately.

We then found the beach club coast where a lady told us that we can actually book a day pass for the hotel - the man did not offer this to us at all, we politely declined and said we would just like to have lunch so they seated us.

However the man pictured has been standing by us for 1.5 hours literally not moving the entire time watching us and making sure we don’t move as if we are criminals ?? 😅 it was not like we tried to sneak in we just didn’t know how to find the beach club and yet he has followed us/ stood guard over us the entire time we’ve been here.

SO unwelcoming and rude. We are also the only people in the beach club. Service is horrible and there are way nicer beach clubs that are much more...

I recently attended La Dolce Vita - Sunday Brunch by the Beach and it was excellent.

There was so much excellent food available including traditional Italian meat & salad dishes, pasta & pizza galore, all the fixings for an epic charcuterie board, sushi & sashimi, a wide range of grilled seafood, premium meats, Italian sausages, chicken as well as Italian comfort food dishes.

The desserts were to die for, but the Live Tiramisu Station was the star of the show!

COAST Beach Club & Bistro is such a fun spot, and as an expat in Phuket, it's one of my favorite places to visit for a bite to eat or a sunset drink.

We're travelling trough Thailand for our honeymoon and were looking for a beachfront restaurant. We decided to go to Coast Beach Club & Bistro. When arriving there, nobody knew about our reservation. The food was oké, the drinks expensive. After having dinner we wanted to pay by card. The terminal however, was not working. Nor my mastercard, nor my man's mastercard was working. This is where the situation got unpleasent. We were looked at as scammers and unfriendly escorted to an ATM. At the ATM we immediately managed to withdraw the money. However, no apology or compensation came from the staff. We have rarely felt so...
