Rachawadee Resort & Hotel — Hotel in Khon Kaen Province

we have been staying here for 8 or 9 years ,,some things never change ,we stayedb in january and april this year,,the room cleaning staff are all good friendly and polite ,,the desk staff understand what they want to understand ,,the breakfast menu has never changed ,,i got there and hold my hand above the food dishes and most of the time they are cold ,,once the boy did light them ,but how long would i have to wait for bit all to heat up ,the fried eggs are always cold ,but we asked the boy cooking the eggs for hot ones no problem for three days he done well ,,but when the older lady started to cook the first morning we asked for hot eggs she said no there are eggs there ,so it ended in heated words ,,but we had nearly finished our breakfast and she sent a waiter over with hot eggs ,,but we had already finished so its sad you have to argue for a hot egg ,,we will still be coming back so it does not put us off,,another thing is the lack of no smoking signs around the swimming pool area they should put more up so we dont have to put up with the vile smell and ash...

This Resort is a bit of an Old Fashioned Thai hotel resort. A lot of wood spacious accommodation and beautiful gardens. Unfortunately it's starting to fall apart or maybe it has been and they are getting it back together hard to tell. Either way dirt or grime is starting to build up . it's the stuff that needs a little bit of extra effort to clean but if such is never applied then slowly slowly black lines start appearing around handrails or cupboards doors and lots of yellow Grime starts building up in the bathtub things like that. The garden and the pool are in great shape and breakfast is fairly decent seven and a half out of 10. The best about this resort is that right a cross the street there is a really really good Thai restaurant that has even won a Michelin star:-) so I don't think I'll be coming back to sleep there but I would not be surprised to see myself sitting across the street eating some rare...

J'y ai séjourné dans 2 types de chambres: deluxe et "luxury grand deluxe" . Les deux sont tout très agréable: grands espaces , literie confortable et très grand lit, propres. L'accueil y est très souriant ( contrairement à d'autres expériences thai ..) . ||Ceci peut être dit par d'autres et l'a été. Je préfèrerais insister sur certains points . ||L'anglais à la réception est basique. Pour des cas un peu compliqués, c'est un peu difficile de se faire comprendre. ||La luxury grand deluxe pour 10 euros de plus est vraiment très tres agréable. Classe. Salle de bain avec bain et douche. Décor plus soigné. Ca vaut la peine si vous pouvez réserver cette catégorie. Et franchement, quand on voit les prix , ils sont tout à fait raisonnables ce qui n'est pas le cas dans beaucoup d'hotels en thailande, surtout en zone plus touristique. ||Personnel de chambre adorable .Vraiment aucune nuisance liée à l'aéroport à coté . On n'entend rien, c'est vrai et je suis sensible au bruit ..... ||Très belle situation donc au calme avec environnement verdoyant. A voir aussi pour "les yeux"' . Des moustiques ? Oui, mais moins qu'ailleurs selon mon expérioence. Un spray sur la peau et sur les vêtements et le tour est joué.||Le petit déjeuner est diversifié, très riche. Rien à redire. ||Le restaurant de l'hotel, autour d'un petit plan d'eau et d'espaces verts est bon et abordable . Sans plus. Pratique si vous ne voulez pas traverser la route et aller dans le seul restaurant du coin, plutot fréquenté par les thailandais. La qualité y est bien meilleure, les prix assez doux . Certes le service laisse à désirer parfois. Parfois le sourire y manque ( d'ailleurs j'ai été étonné par les nombreux commerces où l'accueil était distant, sans sourire ... contrairement aux idées reçues ) ||Bien sur, l'hotel est loin de ville. Inconvénient. Mais pour y passer un séjour détente , parfait. ||Enfin, la piscine ! Jolie à voir mais approchez vous du bassin adulte : couleur plus verte que bleue. Cherchez le système de flltration : aucun. Si, en fait : deux moyens: le filet le matin pour y recupérer les cheveux et autres et la nuit un petit aspirateur de sol. Tout à fait insuffisant pour y assurer une bonne hygiène d'autant que la chloration semble y être limitée ( il semblerait selon un habitué qu'elle était très fort par le passé au point d'irriter les conjonctives ° Et quand 15 personnes dont enfants et bébés s'y baignent, je suggère un bain rapide et une douche en sortant ( je suis hygiéniste de profession ) ||Dernier point rare en europe : on ne vous laisse partir uniquement après qu'on ait fait vérifier que vos déclaration de non utilisation du mini bar aient été exactes. ||Sinon, malgré les quelques remarques, cet hotel vaut bien les 8,4 voire deux...
