The bungalows were well laid out, cool at night, and impeccably clean. No mosquitoes made it inside, and we were able to hang out on our elevated porch and soak up the surrounding views without any mosquitoes bugging us.

The location was perfect for us. We ended up spending most of our time on this idyllic end of the island. Between the good vibes and food at nearby Charlie beach, there wasn't much reason to leave. We did rent one of bamboohut's scooters for a couple days to explore town. Grabbing a taxi was also really easy.

Would also recommend snorkelling the coral reefs at Koh Kradan, swimming through emerald cave, kayaking to Sabai beach, and taking in a sunset at Charlie beach while staying here. Bamboohut had good food and so did Mong bar...

Such a lovely place to stay, relax and eat 🌞 and super super close to Charlie beach for sunset They have a well-cared for garden with many butterflies, fruit and even chili plants Very caring family that is super friendly, helps out whenever needed and spreads good vibes. Quiet and nice to relax in the hammocks at the terrace. My bungalow wasn’t equipped with a water mixer but I was offered to shower at another bungalow (honestly it’s so hot you don’t need hot water, I was just cold from snorkeling). I highly recommend taking the short drive from the pier as this place was so much nicer to everything compared in walking distance off the pier. You can get here super easy with your own motorbike or tuk-tuk taxi You can also rent motorbikes here - everything is easy 🦋 highly recommend...

Kookai and Wun (the owners) are AMAZING! We were made to feel so welcome and everything was designed to make us happy and help us. Kookai and Wun are fun and will help you with anything. They helped sort out our onward travel - ferry and taxi transfer at half the price we were quoted by our next home stay/hotel. The bungalow was clean and situated in lovely gardens. The food was consistently of a high standard. Kookai helped my wife get her hair cut!!! Kookai also gave my wife a motorbike ride to the beach when I took the bungalow key!!
