CoCo Sunset Beach — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We stayed for 2 nights and loved meeting the server. He is such a nice guy, brightens up a room and smiles and laughs so much, you can only be happy when you see him and speak to him. You have a wonderful personality.

We loved the sunbeds and the beach bar was a very good addition to the bungalows, as for breakfast and dinner. Just a nice spot to relax with good potatoes and cheese sticks, very yummy!

However we wouldn’t have thought it to be as loud at night as it was. Yes, we booked the bungalow near to the street but damn, the cars and bikes coming by were LOUD. The bed is really really hard and we do need to get a massage after this stay because it was like sleeping on wood :( Just one thing to know for everyone: the bathroom door has a big split on the side where you can see the person in the bathroom. It was fine for us but maybe there are some people who do not necessarily want to see their friend in the bathroom ;)

All in all, it is a bungalow for a fair price and when you book a bungalow you probably know what you are getting yourself into. However the beds were like stone or wood, so it to be a little bit softer would have...

We were disappointed with our stay at Coco Sunset. Although the location right on the beach was lovely, it’s important to note that the nearby road and the bungalow’s proximity meant the noise from passing cars and neighboring sounds overshadowed the calming waves and bothered our sleep. Even the slightest sounds from neighbors, like coughing, were as audible as if they were in the same room.

Upon arrival, we upgraded to a bungalow with a sea view. While the view was pleasant, we encountered issues such as a noisy pump disturbing our sleep throughout the night. At night we tried to find someone to disable or reduce the pump’s disruptive noise, but there was absolutely nobody around.

Finally, the mattress was the hardest I had ever layer on. (We’ll be posting a photo in the comments section to illustrate the firmness of the mattress.) And the bed sheets were too small for two people during cooler nights.

Et que dire de l'accueil ! Les propriétaires et le personnel sont d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquables. Leur sourire rayonnant et leur attention constante contribuent à rendre ce séjour encore plus inoubliable.
