First of all, a huge thank you to Peay and Andrew! Even though the accommodation itself is already beautiful, the two of them make it something truly special.
We had the room right by the pool and were absolutely amazed. A spacious living room with a fridge, a bedroom with plenty of space to store everything (and the bed is unbelievably comfortable!), plus a bathroom where everything works perfectly. Everything was spotless and cozy â both the rooms and the rest of the resort.
The view from the terrace next to the pool faces directly towards the sunset. Thereâs a billiard table (you wonât find another one this well maintained anywhere else), and you can help yourself to essential drinks and snacks, just write them down on a list (they even have mosquito repellent, rain ponchos, etc.). You can easily spend the entire day there without ever feeling like you should be anywhere else on the island.
I have never experienced such helpfulness in any accommodation before. Without Andrew, we wouldnât have managed to leave the island in time. He organized us spots on a boat that were no longer available online. If you have any questions about the island, diving (or even life in general), he has the answers. Thanks to him, I was even able to convince my girlfriend to go diving, even though she was actually afraid of the ocean.
It was an absolute joy staying with you. If we ever come back to Koh Tao, there is no other place we would even consider.

We booked a stay at Sairee View Whale Skeleton Resort but, unfortunately, were unable to make it due to not securing the ferry tickets in time. While this was our mistake, we still reached out to the owner, Frank, to apologize and let him know we wouldnât be coming.
Instead of any understanding, he responded, saying âWe are not responsible for guests not making the appropriate travel arrangements.â While this is technically true, a more professional or empathetic response would have been appreciated, especially since we were already dealing with the stress of finding last-minute accommodations.
A few days later, we politely asked if a partial refund was possible, since we never checked in. Frank not only refused but left negative reviews on our Airbnb profiles, criticizing us for even asking. His response implied we were unreasonable for inquiring, despite the fact that our booking had remained empty the entire time.
Ultimately, we take full responsibility for our mistake, but the way the owner handled the situationâshowing no empathy and going out of his way to leave negative reviewsâfelt unnecessarily hostile. Other travelers should be aware that this is the kind of customer service they might...

We spent quite a bit of time at Sairee view resort and would not come back and canât recommend this place.
The service was pretty bad as we always had to ask them to empty our bin in the bathroom/room, they didnât check for toilet paper, didnât clean the dirty cups or took the dirty towels with them even though they were obviously placed next to the bathroom door.
So the service is very poor. The owner is sitting outside all day and you feel like living with your parents. Always watching whatâs going on. So donât expect any privacy if you go there.
Itâs a pity as the view itself is very beautiful. But Iâd rather have a place where I can enjoy my time with friends and donât get interrupted in conversation and have the owner sitting behind me and listening to all the conversations I have with my friends.
