Monkey Flower Villas – A Hidden Paradise on Koh Tao||Our family of four adults recently stayed at the Bougainvillea Villa at Monkey Flower Villas, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional.||Booking the accommodation was seamless, and finding Steve, our ever-attentive driver, at the wharf was easy—he made us feel welcome right from our first encounter. We were also fortunate to meet Lincoln, the owner, who greeted us with such genuine excitement about sharing his dream with us.||Upon arrival, the amenities and views exceeded our expectations. We were all impressed with how the villa was built into the natural surroundings of the mountain—the large boulders featured in the bedrooms and bathroom added a unique charm that truly made the space feel special.||The villa had everything we needed for our stay on this beautiful island. Read moreWe went as a group of 8 friends and stayed in Monkey Villa-Gardenia during Nov ‘22. We were blown away the second we stepped foot on the property after a fun ride up the steep hill. The property’s private pool has a breathtaking view of the Island also viewable from the main living room, kitchen, master bedroom, and studio. Greeted by Mohammad (Mo), the Manager and very safely driven by Steve, the driver, they both were extremely hospitable and friendly, making us feel right at home. This duo made our stay very comfortable-from arranging an amazing snorkeling trip, to giving tips on the best local bars/restaurants/beaches/entertainment, to hooking us up for a sports game, to arranging our ferry ride back to Koh Samui, to driving us everywhere practically even in the middle of the night, all with a smile. They were literally a phone(provided) call away!
The villa was immaculately clean, lots of light, beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, and very well put together. There was us fresh local fruits and drinks for guests. The beds and pillows (that makes or break a stay for me) were point on. They had a great music system setup, and the overall vibe was magical (also coming from someone who doesn’t believe in magic). The climb up the spiral tree house was an adventure in itself. The view from the pool side transforms beautifully from day to night, so serene and peaceful. You can stroll up and down the hill and get a feel of the jungle or rent a bike, or simply call the duo for pickup.
I may not be doing justice in my words to describe the beauty of this place, the hospitality of the staff and service, all I can say is, it has left a lasting impression on us! You have to see it and feel it to believe it. I have been raving about it to all my friends and cannot wait to go back...
