Main reason for 2 stars: they almost made us miss our flight out of Bangkok because they forgot to give us our self test kits required for day 5 as part of the test and go program. When I called the front desk lady from the airport (I remembered late, my fault) she said the hospital was supposed to give us the RTK test. The driver who took us to the hospital for the pcr test didn’t mention it. The check in lady didn’t mention it. None of the 5 times I spoke to the staff during our stay mentioned it. GET YOUR RTK SWAB KIT AT THE HOSPITAL! Thankfully they dropped us off our kits while we were at the airport. That’s why they get 2 stars instead of 1.

Upon arriving into BKK, we had to wait 45 minutes for their one shuttle to pick us up from the airport. This was mainly because 12 people arrived with us. A group of 6 were first to go get tested and dropped off at the hotel. But when you know how many people are coming at one time...why not spend some money and hire an extra van? My gf and I paid $200 USD for one night...I’m sure the other 4 people with us also paid around that much...making us wait another 45 minutes after a 16 hour travel day was not fun. And all for what? To save the hotel maybe 300 baht, which is like 10 USD.

I had to try to call my bank for issues with my card and the hotel clerk said “we can’t make international calls”. I told her it was a collect call and they wouldn’t be charged. Still no. “They fixed it” so that no international calls could be made from the hotel. Even from the front desk. For a hotel serving clientele next to the busiest international airport in Thailand...that’s a strange move. Especially considering you can’t leave the hotel while you’re in quarantine.

On their website it says that if you book directly through them, you get a fruit plate and complimentary drinks on checkin. When asked about it later because we didn’t get anything but the water in the fridge and some ramen, the front desk lady said “that’s only if you book just the room. Not the package”. The room costs $40 a night. My package total cost was $200. That doesn’t make any sense.

The “good breakfast” included with the stay was a cup of chicken fried rice (it was not bad) and a...calling it a salad would be generous, it was one piece of lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber, and half a hotdog. No dressing. With a juice. The Thai iced tea we ordered was watery and 65 baht each. That experience basically ensured I’d look elsewhere for food. The Paseo mall (10 minute walk) had a food court. The corner stall next to the hallway leading the bathrooms out back has some pad se ew for 60 baht and it is delicious. There’s also a lady that makes papaya salad for 60 baht kitty corner from the stall I mentioned. So good. She said she’d make it “little spicy” 😂😂 my lips were burning but I was in heaven.

In a country with so much good food for so cheap, breakfast was very disappointing.

I don’t understand why this place has so many good reviews. I will be copy pasting this on all platforms I use because the whole debacle with the self administered rapid test kit was beyond negligent on their part. They should mention it in one of their 3 preliminary welcome emails and then also during checkin. Or you know...just hand the darn things out during checkin. We pay for them in our booking. Why would the hospital hand them out??? Anyway. Annoyed at how basically everything went, if you can’t tell. For $200 USD for one night in Bangkok...it was really a bad experience from...

Had a great Test & Go stay at At Residence.

Communication from the hotel was excellent throughout. I booked direct and received the Test and Go package documentation almost immediately, to be able to apply for my Thai Pass. The hotel also sent an email confirming the entire process from collection at the airport, to the PCR test en route to the hotel and timelines for Test results. Slight delay waiting for the minivan at BKK airport but this seemed to be the case with many people waiting for their respective hotels to collect them.

We were taken straight for the PCR test en route to the hotel and there was no waiting around. From leaving the airport, to being tested, to arriving at the hotel it was around 25 minutes (the hotel is 15 mins from the airport- this is fast!)

Check in was smooth and the hotel service excellent throughout: cup noodles, tea, coffee and water are supplied in the room, though I ordered from the hotel restaurant and the food was great. The staff are very welcoming and super helpful with anything you might need.

The room was spacious and bright with good AC, Wi-Fi, fridge, kettle and sofa. The bed was really comfortable. Cleanliness was generally excellent though the floor could have been cleaner - I just used the slippers provided! Breakfast was good with 4 options and non-dairy milk available.

I arrived at the hotel at about 7:45pm and was called at 7am with my test results - they can come back up to 24 hours after the test so this was great although obviously not guaranteed!

The hotel provides a printed confirmation of the result and a Lateral Flow test kit "just in case", and also explained how to get the 5-7 day PCR currently required under Test & Go. They also provide a shuttle to get you back to the airport though a taxi arranged with the hotel was cheap at 85THB.

All in all an excellent stay and I would definitely recommend and return. Big thanks to the team at...

Avoid this inhumane and sick place. I don’t call this place not even motel but a pig cage. They don’t have any respect to guest. The shower water had a very low water pressure. When I left room around 5pm after checkin, chemical treatment smell was all over the room. I asked to change room because I cannot take a shower. They changed to other room when the fixing did not work. The bell guy who helped me to move was not nice and willing to help with luggages. If you react in anyway, he will make your stay uncomfortable around. Right after I moved room, the front desk called to return another one of two room card keys as soon as possible. It was inconsiderate. The water temperature was not working and very low water pressure in the other room. My foot got burned. The dust was alot in the air. The laundry machines are broken and it stopped itself. The floor was flooded with water. One washer I am using was turned around and the side was open when I went back. I had to go to laundromat. One day the room key did not work which is ridiculous. I ask for a booking cancellation due to shower issue water with burned foot picture. Am wasc The front desk woman in the morning did not answer or explain my questions. She rather say whatever and yelled at me knowing what I am going through. Normal humanlike conversation was impossible. She acted violent and nasty toward guest fir no reason. The hotel rejected one night refund. I had to get a help from trip.com.The front desk woman does not have any concern about guest and at hotel. She should follow her CONSCIENCE. She needs to bark the fool somewhere else. The housekeepers were cleaning very noisy and did not clean the floor in the hallway.Do not let them ruin your vacation at this hotel dealing with this constant mess and headaches...

This is a transit hotel near Bangkok International Airport. The price and quality are commensurate, both not high. The room is small, with a small balcony, and relatively clean; the bathroom is very small and cannot even accommodate the most basic personal items. The Wi-Fi signal in the room is very poor, requiring opening the door to the corridor to connect. The floor-to-ceiling windows and window materials in the room are very cheap, with no soundproofing effect at all, so you can listen to cars speeding, motorcycles racing, pedestrians talking, the intermittent starting noise of the air conditioning outdoor units hanging on the balcony all night long. Another "pleasure" is competing with the shower - the water flow is erratic, and the temperature cannot be stabilized, so you need to achieve your objective within a few seconds to avoid being scalded by suddenly hot water. The hotel offers a shuttle service, just a 15-minute journey, but charges 200 THB. The hotel has its own café-eatery, whose menu looks good; I tried a stewed meat noodle dish that was quite tasty, but the prices here are not cheap. The hotel has a very high rating, which I cannot understand based on my stay experience. The hotel has a swimming pool and other guest room buildings, maybe those are nice? In any case, if you are not a heavy sleeper, I recommend not choosing this hotel. If you still want to test your nerves, then please avoid the top floor of Building 2, which will be your nightmare.

Great Property! Highly Recommend! Pros: Beautiful Property, Staff, Great Sleep, Location First Time Guest. Solo Pleasure Travel. I've been traveling for just over two months, and this is by far the best property I've stayed on this trip. Or for that matter, best property I can recall in a long time. @ Residence is groomed and well maintained, with an attention to detail. I looked hard for something, but couldn't find any area of neglect, e.g., stairwells, corners of parking area, etc. It's obvious the owners, management and staff take personal pride in the property. Immaculate! I was warmly greeted with with a cheerful "Sawadeeka!" The porter took my bag to the room and before I could get my wallet out, he was gone. But had to call him back for a wifi issue. Don't get me wrong; there is fantastic strong coverage. Also, they provide shuttle service to/from the airport (for a small fee). They charge 200b, which is great considering the taxi charged 300b. The bed and bedding were soft and comfortable. The AC ran perfectly. Although close to airport, only heard faint sound of planes taking-off. Absolutely no traffic or neighborhood sounds. Very quiet. Lastly, close to the airport. But not much else. There's nothing else around this area. So, great place when flying in and out of BKK; or a short getaway with someone special. 😉
