If you're looking for a delightful brunch spot in the heart of Bangkok, look no further than Atlas Specialty Coffee. I had the pleasure of visiting this gem recently with some friends, and I must say, the ambiance was simply spectacular. The cozy, chic decor paired with mellow tunes created a perfect backdrop for our leisurely catch-up session.
Now, onto the food—oh my, where do I even begin? I opted for the smashed avocado and smoked salmon, and it was nothing short of divine. The avocado was creamy and perfectly ripened, paired beautifully with the rich, smoky flavor of the salmon. Each bite was fresh and packed with flavor, making it an absolute treat for the senses.
To complement my meal, I decided to try the espresso Nutella. Let me tell you, it was a heavenly concoction! The sweetness was perfectly balanced, not too overwhelming, making it an ideal pairing with my savory dish. I found myself savoring every sip, wishing it would never end.
Overall, my experience at Atlas Specialty Coffee was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The combination of delicious, freshly made food, alongside an inviting ambiance, made it a memorable outing. I left feeling relaxed and utterly satisfied, already looking forward to my next visit. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Atlas Specialty Coffee in Bangkok, and I enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxed, enhanced by the thoughtfully curated music that perfectly complements the cozy environment. It’s a great spot to unwind, whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying some solo time.
The service was prompt and friendly, which made my experience even better. Most of the baristas spoke fluent or semi-fluent English, making it easy to place my order. There was a slight hiccup when they brought me an iced latte instead of the hot one I ordered, but they resolved it quickly and without any fuss. I truly appreciated their courtesy and willingness to make things right.
As for the food, I ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon, and it was delicious! The combination of flavors was delightful, although I found the bread to be a bit sweeter than I’m used to. I think I’ll opt for a smoked salmon salad next time to mix things up.
While the prices are on the higher side, it’s clear that the quality of both the coffee and food justifies it. If you’re in Bangkok and looking for a great coffee spot with a chill vibe, I highly recommend checking out Atlas...
Read moreThe batter of the fish n chips came not soggy yet still lacking in crunch and crispiness, could be improved significantly if beer or even soda water is incorporated into the batter. Everything regarding the chips is fine with the only exception being that it came unseasoned—best to season the chips right when it comes out of the frying oil so the individual salt gains can cling to the potato chips, salting it at the table would be quite wasteful and the flavour doesn't meld in quite as nicely resulting in a sharp salty flavour.
As for the coffee, it was excellent. Top notch quality coffee at a reasonable price. My dirty coffee was chilled to the optimal temperature before being served, the creamy flavour was rich and the aftertaste of the coffee itself was quite pleasant and pervasive.
In my previous visit, I picked the Ethiopian coffee beans and it came out so fragrance with a desired tartness reminiscent of berries and cherry. Had it black without sugar, quite the experience. Highly recommended.
The baristas at the counter do impeccable jobs at explaining and recommending the types of coffee bean selection to your...
