We had an unforgettable stay at Thames Valley Khao Yai. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—staff were warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond. The atmosphere throughout the resort is serene and picturesque, with beautifully maintained grounds that transport you to an English countryside escape.
Our room overlooked the tranquil pond, where large koi fish swam peacefully—a truly calming view to wake up to. The in-house Rose Spa provided a wonderfully relaxing massage experience, complemented by attentive service and a soothing ambiance.
The on-site restaurant exceeded all expectations. The menu is extensive, catering to a wide range of tastes. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. I was especially grateful for the dedicated plant-based section, which is not only inclusive but also beautifully crafted. The quality and flavour of each meal were consistently impressive.
The daily breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit all preferences. From Western favourites to local Thai dishes and plant-based selections, there was something for everyone. The quality and freshness of the food made for a perfect start to each day.
Additional features such as complimentary bike hire made it easy to explore the stunning surrounding area. We also enjoyed the free outdoor movie nights held on Friday and Saturday evenings—a thoughtful touch that added to the charm of our stay.

Read moreThe family totally enjoyed the stay here. Rooms are huge, service is excellent, great ambience within the property, central to many sites and restaurants and breakfast spread is pretty decent. For the first 2 nights we stayed in the family suite on the 2nd floor. Already lovin it. Luxurious space. Due to the delayed check-in, we were offered the Pool Villa on our last night. The kids truly enjoyed it, of course. We appreciated the opportunity to experience the villa. Thank you, Ops Manager Vanit. Both rooms were fully equipped - 2 hair dryers, coffee machine etc. The family suite came w 2 bathtubs. Also appreciated the buggy service whenever we needed a ride out to the lobby, restaurant or carpark for my elderly mom. Just a few minor lows - weak water pressure and the heater. For some units, the heater may take some time to dispense hot water. Gym is small and the weights are rusty. But no fret, there's a nice park within the property for a nice jog. And Vanit said they will be upgrading and expanding the gym in 2 months' time. The pool is pretty small too and underutilised. Maybe cos it's cooler here in Khao Yai. In any case, none of these was a deal breaker for us. Thames Valley made up for it with its good service and ambience. Hotel gave a nice compli drink, soft serve ice cream, has outdoor movie nights and a winter market on a wide grass compound beside it ( although it's very quiet, unfortunately) Truly enjoyed our first time here in Khao Yai and Thames Valley is a huge part of the experience. Thank...
Read moreI’m from the real Thames Valley in 🇬🇧. I chose this hotel because I thought it would be funny to see how Thai people interpreted my home. I expected a Disney version of home and thought it would make a funny Facebook post for my friends.
When I saw the village I didn’t think it was funny. I was very pleasantly surprised and very impressed. Yes it’s a facsimile of the real Thames Valley, but it’s so beautiful and well built that my only regret is that I don’t have more time to stay.
A pool and a small children’s play area are really the only activities here. There is also massage. It’s designed as a peaceful retreat from the outside world and it achieves that goal perfectly. The place is so peaceful and well designed that even with a full compliment of guests in the high season it would be relaxing.
The food is very good as it always is in Thailand, with a global menu. The rooms are simply perfect so no more needs to be said on that. Just perfect. The staff are brilliant, not very visible but always there when you need them and very polite and efficient.
I seem to be the only European guest at the moment. I imagine that this kind of hotel appeals more to Asian people than Europeans but Europeans and especially British people should see this place. The beauty of English village architecture made perfect by Thai weather and their commitment to hospitality and...
