Honestly, when I first arrived at this hotel, I felt the hotel was very quiet so I felt a little scared. However, the hotel staff named Rambo quickly handled us starting from checking in, asking for breakfast preferences for tomorrow morning, even lifting our 4 large suitcases alone to the 2nd floor.
In addition, at dawn around 4 am, there was a problem with the water pump that caused the water to stop.
What I admire is that Rambo and his colleagues worked very quickly so that the problem was immediately handled even though it was at dawn.
I feel the service provided by Rambo and his colleagues is extraordinary. Personal yet efficient service like a five-star boutique hotel.
The room in this hotel is very spacious with 2 comfortable beds. The downside is the limited TV channels. It would be nice if there was an option for a smart TV so that it could play entertainment like YouTube and others. What I like about this room is the many power outlets. I really miss that when I move to the next hotel in Bangkok.
Breakfast at this hotel when we arrived was quite limited. There were only omelettes and Thai sets. However, both were incredibly delicious!!! I didn't expect the breakfast to be that delicious!!! Although it wasn't a buffet, it turned out that the ala carte breakfast was more than enough. Kudos to the woman who cooks here. Sorry I forgot her name, but her cooking was really delicious.
The check out process was also very efficient, and even though the waitress was a woman, she was quick to help us unload our luggage. The overall service at this hotel is Exceptional! I really hope this hotel can grow in the future.
Thank you to all the hotel employees who made our short trip to Khao Yai very memorable. Thank you to Rambo and friends. You guys are the best during my stay at many hotels in Thailand.
This is a real hidden gem. A true five star boutique hotel. I highly...
Read moreWe stayed 2 nights in this resort. It’s a nice and clean homestay kind of accommodation. Staff were helpful. There is no lift and thus required to walk a flight of stairs on level 2. Our rooms were facing the kitchen of neighboring resort. It was noisy from 10pm till midnight as washing of utensils can be heard. Breakfast spread was good on weekend when there is sufficient manpower to run an egg station. We love the warm croissants. The children’s theme park next door blasted Christmas carols till 6pm. That did not really matter as we were out most of the time. We also found a really good restaurant called Prime 19 next door. Prairie Hill Resort is thus a gem in its own way. Do recommend this resort for a short stay...
Read moreMy husband and I booked this place through agoda. Unfortunately we didn’t pay enough attention to the negative reviews it had gotten and made this bad decision. We were in for a shock when we checked in.
The front desk staff do not greet warmly like in other thai resorts. They didn’t say a word of welcome to us when we first arrived at the hotel. Worse, almost all the bathroom fittings were plagued with mold. Please see photos
Their staff, while sincere have poor command of English so communicating with them was very difficult.
Wanting to cancel our stay after the first night was also a nightmare of calling agoda as well as the hotel. Both were unhelpful in assisting us in providing a refund for the...
