Roma Khaoyai Restaurant — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Dropped in for a weekday lunch for 5 persons. Very large establishment with lovely facilities, most of which no doubt not currently in use given the Covid pandemic reality in Thailand at present. The ground floor restaurant was attractive, airy, and very clean. The staff were welcoming, courteous, and professional, and spoke good English.

Extensive menu attractively laid out with good photographs of the dishes offered. I took the liberty of asking to look at their wine list knowing I would not anyway be ordering - very extensive and more than a little pricy for my budget. I would probably choose to pay the Baht 500 corkage charge and bring my own wine.

Very short time from placing our orders to delivery even though the restaurant was almost empty of customers. All the dishes and drinks were very well presented on their plates and platters, and were of an excellent quality that could not be faulted.

The bill was quickly provided when requested, and equally quickly processed. All in all a very enjoyable and positive dining experience. I would recommend this Italian Restaurant for visitors to Khao Yai - we will be...

We thought this was an Italian restaurant, however there is a much wider range than just Italian food. We had the smoked meat platter (which is apparently done in house) and all of the meats were actually pretty good. The pizza was pretty good as well.

Definitely a place to come and chill out with your family and friends - the live band were engaging and kept asking our little ones for song suggestions, which the kids loved.

Overall it was a lovely experience combining good food with relaxing ambience. Just bear in mind that it won't be a cheap experience (based on local pricing) - the meal ended up costing around $40-$50 AUD per adult. Definitely make a booking if you have a preference for...

Only 1 star for low quality service.

We ordered many dishes but one of them never arrive until we asked for the bill. We reminded the waiter TWO times about the last order, but it never arrived. And when we ask for the check, we mention that we didn’t receive that last order. We told the waiter to remove that from our bill but the waiter insisted the dish is now ready to serve. But by that time, we are already full and not in to mood to eat anymore. The waiter wouldn’t let us cancel the late dish which in my opinion in unprofessional.

A high standard restaurant should let their customers choose whether they want to pay for the very late dish or not, not force them into getting something...
