Its a beautiful not so big resort. With a very serne and yogic set up with waterbody and plants. Small little restraunt with ample choices, good tasting food, and just amazing service overall. People are ready to help at every step. ||||The rooms are large, though bit dated and furniture looks old. The aircon was noisy and the toilet faucet and shower was blocked. They came immidietely and rectified what they could. The hotel overall is so good, i was bit confused why they have left these small issues unattended. ||||The location of the hotel is bang in front of the sea ( there is a small road to cross, but that is for all resorts in this area). There is a beautiful walking path on the beach area for about 5 kms. also cycling path. many restaurants, Massage parlors walking distance of 500m to 1km. ||||Overall i loved the place and if you are the one who wants to go to a fancy place, then this is not the choice for you. but if you want a retro look and real resort with very good service and calmness, then just blindly go for GOLDEN PINE...
Read moreWe stayed for 1 night in July 2023 as a couple and paid 1250/n for a Deluxe room with seaview. The room is large, with excellent views of the sea and the hotel gardens. Room is a little dated and tired but adequate. Shower has two taps, one cold and one adjustable warm, I'm not a fan of this style but it's common in Thailand. Bed was firm, which we like, and pillows comfortable with two for each person. Air con unit on balcony, need to turn off when sitting on balcony otherwise too noisy. Pool is very nice directly overlooking the beach. Bar/cafe is not directly adjacent to pool being about 20m away. Prices, for hotel, very reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful and speak English well. Location right on beach, lovely walkway for a number of km's along beach or you can hire bikes, even ride all the way to Khao Kalok with dedicated bike path much of the way. Street food in the evening along the beach Street about 200m south. All in all an excellent stay, would stay here again when next...
Read moreStayed 3 nights. The room was large and clean. Room service was diligent even though I didn't require anything they left new towels and bottles of water outside my room. The hotel was eerily quiet at times. There was no food served during my visit. During the day time there is not much open within a short walking distance. At night there were a few food stalls and one restaurant close by. There is good food nearby but not exactly walking distance. Not a convenient location. Need a scooter or bike to get around unfortunately. Difficult to find a Grab or taxi. There are lots of stray dogs and it is very dark around the hotel. The beach is not swimmable. I hired a driver to get around to the sites I wanted to see. I booked a taxi through the hotel to go to Hua Hin bus terminal and they charged me 500 baht which was alot more than what I was expecting. The staff seemed to patronize me at times, probably due to my ethnicity. At other times they...
