Khao Tao Villa Beach Resort / เขาเต่า วิลล่า บีช รีสอร์ท — Hotel in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We had been looking at this resort for a while and decided to have a change of scenery from Hua Hin for one night.||||We had made enquiries in person and booked a poolside villa for the following week.||When we inspected the room we were quiet impressed. There was a problem with the pool and the water had been drained so we were hoping it would be refilled for our overnight stay.||||We arrived and the security was very welcoming and helpful. Check in was easy. Our villa was gorgeous with a nice verandah overlooking the empty pool through to the beach view.||||There was only one other room taken so the resort was very quiet.||Spent the afternoon on the beach with a swim in the ocean. The beach was empty and low tide. Beautiful spot.||||Had dinner in the restaurant the food was delicious then went for a short walk to the lake to take some photos of the memorial to the Late King all lit up.||||Staff were always around and the breakfast was very generous and tasty.||||I would of loved to spend more time here and to have the pool full of water. The room itself is not much, a bit old and dark, but we had good sleeps during our stay.

The food is of good quality​ and taste but the cook is not available all the time so it is wise to pre-order your food and specify the time of your meals. The kitchen is closed at 8 p.m. which I think is too early. However, there are several other food options nearby.

The saline pool is clean. On the contary, the beach in front of the resort is not very clean, lots of garbage. Most of them seems to come from a fisherman village nearby. I feel more comfortable swimming further up north of Khao tao beach.

The service is fine. The staff are attentive and speak good English but there's​ still a big room for improvement.

The surrounding area can be explored on foot. You can walk up the hill to the big Buddha, climb up the little sea wall, or have a stroll around the reservoir.

This is a good place for kids. We enjoyed our stay and the beach is mostly lovely, much better...

เคยเห็นมั้ย...โรงแรมที่พัก...ที่ไม่เอาเปรียบนักท่องเที่ยว อย่างเเรกเลยคือ สวนสวยสบายตา ห้องพักที่ดูสะอาดสอ้านห้องน้ำแยกส่วน ส้วมกับฝักบัวโซนแห้งโซนเปียก เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้า ตู้เย็น แอร์ ใช้แบนด์ยี่ห้อดังเย็นฉ่ำ ตู้เซฟเก็บของมีค่า ไม้ตียุง ไฟฉาย ตะเกียงเทียน ไดร์เป่าผม เราท์เตอร์ไวไฟห้องใครห้องมัน ชุดเก้าอี้โต๊ะวางอาหาร เตียงปรับพนักพิงหน้าห้อง มีมาให้ครบ เลือกไม่ถูกจะนั่งชิลด์หน้าห้องหรือไปริมหาดดี อันนี้ก็แทบให้5ดาวไปแล้ว เรามาได้ห้องวิว สระว่ายน้ำใสๆใช้ออกกำลังกายได้เหนื่อยจริง น้ำจุดลึกสุด 160ซม. ใครมีเด็กควรระวัง พร้อมจักรยานให้ใช้ปั่นยืดเส้นรอบอ่างเก็บน้ำเขาเต่าที่อยู่ทางเข้าหน้ารีสอร์ท หรือจะเอาเรือคายักพร้อมเสื้อชูชีพออกไปพายเล่นฟรีๆแบบไม่จำกัดเวลา ได้ตลอดทั้งวันทั้งหมดนี้จองมาในราคาคืนละ 2,100บาท พร้อมอาหารเช้า สพหรับ2ท่านก็ถือว่าคุ้มมาก หรือต้องการเตียงเสริม สำหรับท่านที่3 เขาคิดแค่500รวมอาหารเช้าก็ยิ่งคุ้มเข้าไปอีก ในที่พักมีอาหารเครื่องดื่มบริการด้วยน่ะครับเห็นเมนูแนะนำ ก็น่าสนใจจึงลองสั่งกุ้งผัดซอสมะขามรสชาติถือว่าอร่อยเลยเมื่อเทียบกับร้านอาหารเเถวเขาตะเกียบที่ไปลองชิมมา ราคาจานละ200 กุ้งผัดได้สดอร่อย ราคาดี ปริมาณเหมาะสม ได้มาตราฐาน ก่อนมาเราเลือกที่จะซื้ออาหารทะเลสดมาปิ้งย่างเองโดยสอบถามกับทางที่พักล่วงหน้า เขาก็มีบริการอุปกรณ์ปิ้งย่างให้ ทีแรกก็กลัวคิดว่าคงจะได้เตาเล็กๆกับถ่านถุงนึง แต่ผิดคาดอย่างมาก เตาทางรีสอร์ทขนาดทำหมูหันได้อ่ะ ถ่านก็มาเป็นถังเรียกว่าปิ้งกันได้ทั้งคืน #ที่ประทับใจสุดๆก็คือที่พักบริการล้างและจัดจานอาหารทะเลให้ด้วย# พร้อมกับเก็บทำความสะอาด ค่าบริการทั้งหมดนี้300บาท ตรงนี้ขอบอกว่าทางเราปลื้มมากๆเพราะมันสะดวกสบายมากจริงๆสำหรับคนเดินทางมาไกลกว่า4ชม.จากอยุธยาเพื่อมาพักผ่อน อาหารเช้าก็มีให้เลือกและจัดว่ามาตราฐานครบทุกสิ่งอย่างครับ เงียบสงบ หาดกว้าง วิวสวย ไม่มีอะไรจะติเลย อยากจะพักมากกว่า1วัน ชอบมากจริงๆ...
