CASA THERESA RESORT — Hotel in Ranong Province

Booked in for one night on route to Chumpon, not much choice in this town, was shown a room which seemed quite old and basic for 1000 baht which we rejected, on walking back to our car we were offered a room at the rear of the rather untidy garden property for 650 baht which we accepted as we were both tired and did not feel like looking any further, at 8pm a man knocked on the door and with a very worn price list and no english indicated that the room was actually 700 baht, being to tired to argue I paid him his 50 baht, we slept ok and departed the following morning, a very old room and scruffy property, in general, would not recommend this establishment or in fact the town itself which has nothing of...

We booked a room at casa Theresa without hesitation, we only needed a room for the night and what we originally booked became unavailable. But vcasa Theresa was more than adequate for our needs, very friendly staff, reasonable price, clean and quiet. We were offered a choice of basic room or superior room as there was little difference we took the basic, a/c, tv, fridge, double bed.|Only drawback was the window... No view as such, just a concrete wall! Didn't matter to us as we only needed the room as a stay over on the way...

Stayed one night on my way up north, good clean room, friendly English speaking staff. I had a ground floor room with aircon and shower for 550 baht.
