Updated my review to address the owner's response at the end

I contacted the hotel private on Google. They seemed friendly and agreed on a price that was suitable. Since we didn't use Booking.com or similar websites we got the price of 780 Bath per night and booked for two nights with a room upgrade to a duplex. They were very friendly when contacting them and wrote that we will take very good care of you. Paying the day after, as we arrived late at night we weren't greeted friendly, just pay and go basically. Room was OK but not very clean, see picture of disgusting dirty cutting board, microwave totally spotted on the top. We didn't use the kitchen! Pool was nice but in the middle the day a company came to clean it. They threw chemicals in while we were in it.

Room looks dated and not personal. We chaised a huge cocoroac and found someone's earphones under the bed...

In email and what's app I asked twice that we were only booking for two nights but might extend the stay. After two nights and six weeks of travelling in Thailand I asked to extended one night. Then the Thai at reception said the price will go up to 900 paying cash per night.

I said I already mentioned to the guy managing the bookings that I mentioned twice that we might extended the stay and he never mentioned in email or WhatsApp that the price would increase more than 15% The receptionist said my boss told me to increase the price. I contacted the contact person online and he confirmed this is the new price. He should had said this before checking in, this is a almost emty hotel... I think they just trying to lurk people in with a cheap price and then higher with no reason. He said this is a popular room, maybe in high season but not now ... When addressing this to the contact person online he said it's better if we check out, as they only want happy customers and atmosphere. Very false way of dealing with customers. Only if you're happy and obedient you can stay! They cannot take complaints. Look at previous old reviews. If someone complaints they just write you don't fit in our happy atmosphere. We'll there was no happy atmosphere, no friendly stuff until the day we checked out.

Almost no water pressure in the shower and very noisy in the morning from trucks and maintenance in surrounding buildings and staff building.

Reply to owner Thank you for your reply. I stand by my detailed review, which was based on my actual experience. I highlighted both positive aspects, such as the pool and location (rated 4/5), and areas of concern that I deemed relevant to share. I encourage potential guests to review all feedback, including mine, to make informed decisions. I hope future visitors enjoy a positive experience. However, be cautioned: I find it unprofessional and ill-judged for the hotel to label clients as "cheap" or refer to a "particular lady who has nothing else to do," which reflects poorly on their ability to engage in respectful dialogue. Moreover, a simple look at responses to negative reviews reveals a troubling pattern where the hotel resorts to personal attacks, portraying reviewers as negative individuals. This approach, potentially driven by the owner, demonstrates a lack of professionalism and may unintentionally foster an unwelcoming atmosphere, undermining the hotel’s credibility. Potential guests should proceed with caution. Furthermore, I assert my right to provide feedback based on factual observations, rather than the unsubstantiated remarks...

The owner, Gio, and his staff are the heart of this place. I felt so welcomed and well looked after.

They were so attentive from the moment I checked in and all the way through my stay. Gio always asked if I needed anything, and that's really nice.

There was a problem with the AC, and he arranged a technician to clean it and even reinstalled a new one. I was moved to a different room.

Gio upgraded me from the budget room to the deluxe apartment, and it makes me feel so grateful how much he cares for his customers.

The location is reality convenient. It's tucked away from the main road. It's very quiet here. The hotel also has house rules where everyone is encouraged to not disturb others after 10 pm.

There is a carpark in the front of the hotel. But you don't really need a car here. Everything is in a walking distance. 5 minutes to the beach, cafes, restaurants, and shops. There is tesco lotus and supercheap convenient store for your essentials and grocery shopping, there is a laundry and launder mat nearby.

As for the rooms, the deluxe apartments are so spacious! I highly recommend this type of room. It has two floors. The ground floor has full kitchen including stoves, kettle, coffee maker, cutleries, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, knives, and chopping board. There is a cute dinning table that fits up to four people. There is a cute comfy sofa. A second toilet is a plus 🔥 On the upper floor is an ensuite bedroom with comfy big bed that could probably fit up to thee people, a wardrobe, TV (some room comes with an office table and chair). The bathroom is so spacious and comes with hot shower. You can choose what type of shower you'd like, there is an overhead ones, and the handle ones. The bathroom has big basin and areas for you to leave your toiletries and makeup/skincare. I just love the space!!!

Onsit, there is a swimming pool that is being cleaned everyday, and a cute garden that is beautifully design so you can have some quiet and private moments there. There are koi fish 🐟 in the pond, and some cute tables and chairs. There is also a shared workspace too with big long table and chairs and kitchen area with tea, coffee, and drinking water.

A perfect getaway for people who works remotely, perfect for a small family trip, perfect for solo and...

My stay at Namphung was fantastic. I initially booked for 12 nights but loved it so much that I ended up staying for 2.5 months!||The resort is peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful garden setting. There’s a great pool, swings, hammocks, and a dedicated co-working space where I enjoyed a good coffee every morning. The place felt like its own little private paradise.||The location is perfect. Tucked just off the main road, it offers a calm escape while being only a few minutes walk from Rawai Beach and a short drive to Nai Harn Beach. There are also plenty of restaurants, massage spots, supermarkets, gyms, and nightlife options nearby.||The staff were excellent. Jack and NoNo at reception were always very friendly and super helpful. Jack was especially quick to reply on WhatsApp and made everything easy. Gio, the owner, was also incredibly welcoming and made sure my stay was smooth, enjoyable, and hassle-free. It was clear they genuinely cared about guests having the best experience possible.||The duplex apartment was a perfect fit for me. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed: a living area, kitchen, sofa, and TV downstairs, plus a large bedroom, bathroom, and balcony upstairs with a good view. It felt like a home away from home.||I highly recommend Namphung. It’s a beautiful, relaxing place with great people and everything you could need. I’ll...

What a surprise when I arrived earlier than 2pm check-in time at this hidden gem. The owner was at the reception when I asked if it would be possible to check in earlier than 2pm. Zio, who is Greek, showed me to a duplex studio and upgraded me for a small fee to this amazing room! Totally recommend it to the couples out there. Then, I could check in at 11h30 a.m., and he showed me around his resort. He also helped me to get a brand new motorbike for rent and even added me to his WhatsApp to send me lots of recommendations about Phuket and around. What an amazing host! His attention to guests and to maintain the resort with lovely touches *kudos for the hanging chairs above the pool shows his passion in hospitality (his background). We had a good laugh and nice talks. I totally recommend this hidden place in Rawai, and best is to book directly with the resort
