Raya Rawai Place — Hotel in Rawai

My boyfriend and I stayed here fom December 31st to January 20th,2013. We found the hotel to be very clean, and the ladies downstairs were so friendly they treated us like we were in their home. They were the ones who booked our excursions for us and also booked a scooter for us which became very convenient to get around Phuket. The driver was also very helpful and nice. Their very honest people they never wanted to take our tips that we left for them when we wanted the room cleaned which is very uncommon to us. I don't recommend this place if you don't plan on renting a motorbike consdidering how far everything is from the hotel. There is an awesome Mexican restaurant down the road that offers the best Mexican food we wever tasted! Thers is a very affordable laundry place across the street which did our laundry for us. Also the mosque next door always wakes us up with their loud speakers at 5 am, but it never bothered us. The rooms are standard nothing fancy, no pools but very clean and it had everything we needed. Not a far drive to rawai beach with our motorbikes. Nice...

I stayed at Raya Rawai Place for the first 2 weeks of 2020 whilst training at AKA Thailand. It is a very clean, well-presented hotel with stylish and practical finishes. I stayed in a generously-sized studio that had a big, comfy bed, well-appointed bathroom, a good-sized balcony and my room was serviced every other day. All essentials were provided and staff were always very friendly, professional and helpful. It is a 10-15 minute walk to AKA Thailand, which is a great way to warm up for and down from training (if that's the reason for your stay). I booked accomodation through Agoda with no booking cost and paid in full upon arrival to the hotel for 12 nights, which was 12000THB - extremely good value for money! I came here because my original booking was cancelled from agoda for some reason and on the chinese New Year everything was fully booked. I wanted to stay just 1 night but ended up 5 nights even though I could have changed before. The boss, an older gentleman, waited for me in the night to check in, which was very kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's nice and quiet during the night and you don't hear the nearby street. The price was 1000 Baht a night, and if you're on a budget, this is a good option.
