If you like to chill and relax with locals, White@Sea is the perfect place for the city getaway.
We have experienced many resorts on Mae Ram Peung beach from the beginning til the end of the beach. From the price USD 100+ to below USD30. This place is the pick of all. Price is reasonable (USD27 from LINE), location is perfect... beach is lovely, tranquil and chill.
Room; We stayed in the resort (little house), a bit rundown and eerie at night., recommend to stay in hotel Room 2B, 3A and 4B which can see the beach and balcony on the side.
The cons that you may consider; 1.Rooms aren't perfectly clean, some rusty on balcony, floors are rough but they provide flipflops). No elevator Beach can be trashy when it's windy. Sometimes during rainy season is dangerous to swim.
Things around; 1.There are many thai restaurants and most of them cook delicious food. Many coffee shops on the beach.
2.A local surf school for beginners next door.
6 kms to Ban Phe, 16 kms to Rayong.
Recommend to rent motorbike (can get in many places on the mid part of the beach), or the Saleng (motorbike with cart on the side.) if you come with family.
On the end of the beach, there is a nice restaurant, super good food with nice atmosphere (personal preference). And Purple Haze, the bar closeby resort has great choices of food and kitchen opens til midnight, good people, happy and fun with pool table. Don't be...

Some people said their bathrooms are too small but, hey you go on a vacation why you need a large bathroom then? Well, I just went in and did my business or took a shower and then hopped out, so I didn't care about the size of it. I loved the white and blue colors they decorated eveything in the bungalow. Simple yet trendy. The AC in the rooms(each room has its own AC, so we got 3 ACs for our two bedrooms and one living room). All the bungalows have bbq in the front, but you gotta prepare the rest or you can borrow from their restaurant. The public pool is small, but since we went there on weekdays and not many people there, so a small pool for 4 of us is more than enough. There are also some sun beds around the pool too. The cons of this place is the water in the bungalow, that seems not enough. We waited for almost an hour after checking in to be able to take a shower. They should prepare better for this as sometimes guests want to shower right after they reach their bungalow. This place is quiet, nice, and I definitely will come...
Read moreThis place isn’t worth for money at all. I paid THB 3,700 for 2 persons and 2 dogs but got nothing. There were no breakfast, no bathroom amenities, no wardrobe, no kettle, no proper curtains in a living room (curtains were transparent and people outside could see everything). A water heater for shower didn’t work well - no any hot (or even warm) water.
Floor and in-room were dirty and all covered with dust. Air-conditioners and outdoor facilities were really old.
This resort claimed itself that it’s pet friendly but my dogs could rarely walk around because strain dogs from outside can freely walk in.
Totally disappointed with what I experienced here. This place is strongly not...
