Purple Haze — Restaurant in Rayong Province

A difficult review to write. We went 2 nights in a row in a party of 12-18 people. Both nights the food ordered took a long time however to be expected during covid. The food was excellent & well portioned. On the end of the first night one person in our party questioned his bill to find it to be 40b too much, the staff informed him the prices in the menu were incorrect and old but had not been updated and refunded his 40b... The prices were written by hand so this seemed incorrect. No other in our party questioned their tab. On returning to our hotel I reviewed my bin and found an overcharge of 130b. Another 5 in our party attested that their bills seemed higher but were not too concerned. On returning the second day we checked prices in the menu which confirmed we were overcharged 130b on the previous night. On review with others in the group they said yes between 30b-130b had been added. We dined again and ordered drinks. Upon finishing and requesting to check bin we asked for a breakdown. This showed an overcharge of 40b Being charged 100b each for 2 large changs when the price in menu was 80b & a huge sign out front stating 80b. Very disappointing, obviously not a mistake & in-line with other people's review on this restaurant

Purple Haze. What can I say? The hospitality shown to my boyfriend and I was unparalleled As a hostess, Trixie could not have done more to make us feel at home and part of the furniture. A national holiday, the bar was officially closed but herself and Nick to pity on two hungry tourist just looking for a bite to eat. We had more than we bargained for. Nick headed for the kitchen and to say culinary delights would be to sell what arrived at the table short. A feast for for a King

I could not recommend this place highly enough and look forward to seeing you again

Food is delicious, many choices of food.

Pad Kaprao (chicken), could say the best on Mae Ram peung we've tried. Green chili stir-fried tastes smooth and clean.

Indian dish is greeeat, we tried burrito spicy level 4, love it!

Samosa and espresso is good.

Mojito is freshhhhh...

Staff are lovely, owners are kind and friendly, to make sure you will be ok.

Kitchen closes at midnight!

Don't be shy, try once!

P.S. We aren't into taking photos so we didn't have many photos from here, food was too good, we were too hungry. Too crowded to take...
