Anodard Phuket, Nai Yang Beach — Hotel in Sakhu

Absolutely loved my one-night stay at Anodard!

I arrived late at night due to a late flight and the owner came to greet me and was very friendly and welcoming. Communication via Whatsapp when I booked was quick and helpful. The room was lovely with a big bathroom and comfy bed and there was water, tea and coffee provided.

In the morning, the view over the little lake was beautiful. I walked about 15-20 minutes to the beach and their friendly dog came with me the whole way, and even waited outside a cafe for me while I had some breakfast, which was really sweet.

As a single woman travelling alone, I felt very safe in the area. It was also easy to get a grab, and walking on the streets nearby was fine.

We arrived to a very unfriendly host which just directed us to our bungalow, didn't say anything to us and just walked off. We inspected the place and found it very unclean, the aircon was set to max but it just wasn't cooling the room at all. There were three barking dogs outside to listen to, the host came back to us and asked if we wanted to rent a bike which we did so he got one of his mates to come over and pick us up but they insisted that they have to hold the passport which we weren't going to do. We absolutely loved our stay here (7 days). Absolutely recommend. The family is incredibly lovely and kind. Any time we texted them, there was immediate response like when we needed help taking out a lizard that sneaked in 😊 The location is absolutely stunning. Private, quiet, surrounded by locals. Only 8 minute drive to the magical Nai Yang beach 😍 They even offered to use their bike and helped us with washing our clothes.
