Lost $100 from the wallet

We booked our stay in this hotel for four nights, at the arrival staff were welcoming and offered us early check-in. However the lobby staff provided us a wrong room key which was not ready yet. We went to the room and realized it wasn't our intended room and in the meantime the lobby staff came to the room and provided us the new room key and escorted us to the room which was three rooms away in the same hallway. After around 5 mins we realized one of our bag is missing and the bag had our passport, money & some items. I rushed to the previous room and found out one female and a male housing keeping staffs were next to the bag inspecting the bag.

I claimed it was my bag and showed them the passport which was in there as a proof. I walked away with the bag checking the rest of the items, where I found out of $ I had in my wallet $100 were missing. At the same time I reached the lobby and informed the staff and staff tried to make me calm down. After few mins he came to room and informed he checked with the staff and they haven't taken anything. Same time I reached to the hotel manager and recited what happened. However he was 100% sure his staff hadn't taken anything. I told him to please check on this, he said sure I'll check and get back but he never did. There were plenty of CCTV cameras in the hallway where it was directed at the room. If they really wanted to check what happened or who was in the room they'd have checked the CCTV footage but they never did. Simply they didn't give any effort to see what happened. It was my mistake that I forgot the bag in the previous room for few minutes where I had my trust on a fairly rated hotel service. Since that day I had to take all my cash, electronic devices and valuables with me the entire trip through the stay.

The hotel is very clean. And everything works fine. Nothing was broken. It’s just a little humid in the room cause of the pool right outside your door. But when you turn on the AC you forget about that. Location is okay. This was the last leg of of my trip so I wanted to be close to the airport which I was. But if you’re planning to stay here and move around Phuket, maybe it’s best you get a car rental or a bike at least. I was hailing taxis to move around and it was okay all over Phuket but a little difficult here I don’t know why. Sometimes there would be no taxi’s in the area (as in no taxi’s on the hailing apps). The service is good. The staff is competent and helpful. Amenities are really good. Pool very big, gym efficient, Cafe with great food, please try it, room service - loved that. The hotel breakfast was average though. I ate it once and decided to save the calories for better food elsewhere OR their Cafe. I can go on and on about how nice their vegetarian pizza is. Also I really like how clean, organised and in good working order everything in the bathroom is. Lastly, the day I checked in, I was actually really sick and they let me check in early because the room was ready (without me asking or even telling them I was sick). I really...
