A very bad stay in a dirty hotel. We had 3 rooms on the ground floor. In response to the question about what we liked, our answer is simple: nothing. The departure. The entire accommodation is incredibly dirty and in dire need of maintenance. The rooms overlooking a blank wall are dirty, and the beds are both hard and dirty. This place is truly an experience we haven't often had in our 35 years in Thailand. The pool is contaminated with hair, leaves, and bandages, and there are 4 broken chairs next to it that are too dirty to touch. The staff is unfriendly and doesn't lift a finger. Breakfast is really awful. Everything was cold, including the fried egg that had been sitting there for a long time and was ice cold. There was only coffee available, along with some bread and jam. It's a real disgrace. Parking spaces are tight and dangerous; if you're not careful, you'll get stuck. Location right in the busy centre. The towels in the room were more yellow than white and threadbare, the equipment in the gym was completely rusted and unsafe to use, we bought three air fresheners, but the smell of insecticide couldn't be removed from the rooms....

I recently had a comfortable stay at this hotel and was quite satisfied with my experience. The highlight for me was the cleanliness of the rooms.
A notable feature of the hotel is its environmentally friendly approach. The use of refillable bottles for toiletries is a thoughtful initiative that reduces plastic waste.
While the pool may be on the smaller side, it's a great addition, especially considering the reasonable price. It's a refreshing amenity that adds value to the stay. Adjacent to the pool, there's a small gym equipped with a variety of heavy weight dumbbells.
One aspect I particularly appreciated was the diverse mix of customers – mostly Thais and Westerners. It was a pleasant surprise that there were no Chinese tour groups during my stay, as it often brings about noise and disruptions. This made my experience more tranquil and enjoyable.
In summary, my stay at this hotel was positive. Clean rooms, eco-friendly amenities, a decent pool, and a well-equipped gym all contributed to a comfortable stay. I can say I had a good night's sleep and a generally...
Read moreTop Residence in Surat Thani, is a modern 2-storey building with no elevator. The staff, in general, were very friendly and helpful, always willing to help. Our room was on the second floor, it had a wall to wall window, but in front (no more than 5 meters) it had an old building. The room was very nice and the size was not big but not small either and they did room service daily. The bathroom in the room, nice and clean but without a curtain or screen in the shower, that meant that there was water throughout the bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant service, our rate included the buffet breakfast, OMG, super delicious and generous, you could choose between American or Asian breakfast, in addition to cereals and fruits, amazing, I recommend choosing breakfast included. The location of the hotel is good, close to many places to eat, the city center and the Tapi River are less than 2 kilometers away, and the area is quite busy, so it is not a problem to walk through it at night. The hotel pool is not very big, but it...
