Hotel Hammamet Beach is fine if you manage to book it for a very affordable price. Unfortunately, it’s not really worth paying more. Rooms: The hotel has two parts – one renovated, the other a bit older. We got a room in the older section, so that’s what I’ll review. The room was okay, but there was a noticeable lack of power outlets – only one in the whole room, and it was used for the TV. Cleanliness was average, not terrible but not great either. On the positive side, every room has a balcony or terrace. The air conditioning worked really well, but sadly it’s turned off for the whole hotel after September 15th. For two days we didn’t get any room service, even though we tried to leave the room at likely times. Apart from the first day, we didn’t receive new towels either (they were taken after check-in but not replaced). Staff: The staff were friendly and polite, but very focused on French guests. Tips were quite expected. A big downside was that the staff repeatedly asked us for alcohol from the bar. At first it wasn’t a big deal, but when it happened just as we sat down for dinner, it got frustrating. And often it didn’t even sound like a request, but just a phrase stating the type and amount of alcohol – though I think this was more due to poor English rather than being intentionally rude. Still, it wasn’t something I liked. I doubt they’d ask the French guests the same (different wristband colors for French vs. Germans, Ukrainians, Poles, etc.). Facilities: The hotel itself looks really nice. A big plus: three swimming pools (one with slides and water fun for kids, one smaller pool, and the main one where all the activities happened). The private hotel beach with free loungers and umbrellas was amazing – definitely one of the hotel’s highlights. Food: I’ll be honest – I’m not a big fan of exploring new flavors. For me, the food was a disaster. It was completely bland, with little variety of European or “basic” dishes (just a few types of pasta, pizza, and fries). When I got back home, I had to eat something right away because I really missed flavor and quality. That said, we met people who were absolutely delighted with the food, so clearly this depends on personal taste. Other notes & summary: If you come here without a French passport, be prepared to be treated a little differently. I don’t think it’s intentional, probably more due to the language barrier. Also, prepare yourself for flies. They were everywhere. What really shocked me was that in the restaurant all the food was uncovered, and the flies were constantly on it. Sometimes it was hard to even eat or relax at the beach/pool because they’d land on your face, your plate, your hands – everywhere. And I don’t think I’m exaggerating. Couples’ stay, September 2025. All in all, I still consider the holiday enjoyable, but definitely not perfect.

Stay Details|I stayed at Hammamet Beach Hotel in August for five days with my girlfriend. Overall, I would rate the value for money at 8 out of 10.||Location|The hotel is situated quite far from the actual town and local shops, which makes walking to attractions inconvenient. On the positive side, it has its own private beach with free sunbeds and umbrellas, which is a great advantage. The surrounding area felt relatively safe, but, as in much of Tunisia, it was not very clean outside the resort. Litter was common on the streets, and there were occasional unpleasant smells. The beach itself was clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable.||Rooms|Upon arrival, I was given a room with a connecting door to another, which meant I could hear conversations from next door. I requested a change and received a standard double room. While it was clean, it was clearly in need of renovation: cracked wooden doors, peeling paint, worn areas that couldn’t be fully cleaned, old furniture, unattractive plastic chairs, yellowed buttons, and rusty screws. There was no fridge or complimentary drinks in the room, but there was a small TV with many international channels, which was a plus. The second room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, allowing for a good night’s rest.||Service|The staff were one of the strongest points of my stay. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and hardworking, making me feel welcome throughout my holiday. English communication was possible, though not always fluent.||Food and Drinks|The food was very good, offering plenty of variety. There was even a “safe food” section for guests who preferred more familiar dishes. However, drink options at lunch were limited to water and overly sweet juices from a dispenser. Bars were acceptable, but the all-inclusive cocktails were disappointing — pre-mixed, lacking effort, average in taste, and served in small cups, which meant I often had to take two at a time for a regular soda. The resort did not offer any themed restaurants or bars.||Facilities and Activities|The hotel did not have a spa or gym. Entertainment programs were available, but I didn’t participate, so I can’t comment on their quality. Excursions were offered, but the prices were roughly three times higher than those available outside the hotel. There were three swimming pools: one with slides (open only for limited hours), a main pool, and a quieter pool. All pool areas were clean and well-kept. A pleasant surprise was the evening shisha bar, available for an extra charge, which offered a relaxing atmosphere.||Overall Impression|I would not recommend Hammamet Beach Hotel for a luxury holiday. However, for a budget-friendly stay, it can be a good choice, especially if you appreciate a private beach, friendly staff, and good food more than...

We stayed with my friend at Hammamet Beach Hotel from April 19 to April 26, organized by Exim Tours.|1. Reception and organizational issues|The arrival was quite smooth, we received the room keys immediately, but unfortunately, the room was dirty, and the shower was in terrible condition. There was a man at the reception who was not competent enough to help us. Huge thanks to Samira, who really tried to help us and find a replacement.|In the new room, there was no hairdryer. At 3 p.m., I asked to provide one, they said it would be brought. At 10 p.m., I went to ask again, and they told me there was no one available today to solve the problem. After about 20 minutes of discussion, we spoke to the hotel manager/director, and he finally resolved everything perfectly|Summary: Thanks for giving us the best room we could get, but it cost us a lot of nerves.|2. Animation team|The entire team was simply amazing. Iman, who leads the animation team, is not only an elegant, beautiful woman but also a true professional.|Ryan (the DJ) — he creates incredible music, has an unreal voice and taste; the parties with him were some of the best of my life.|Blacky (animator) is a wonderful person who took care of us, making sure we weren’t bored, as we were the only English-speaking guests at the hotel. He explained everything in detail and did his best to make us feel comfortable.|All the animation team they are really good and they work hard, thank you|3. Food|The food was very tasty, everyone could find something they like.|4. Sea/Pool|We traveled off-season, so it was a bit chilly, but we knew that in advance, so there are no complaints. Moreover, there was an indoor heated pool.|5. Conclusion|I would definitely come back again — but only if the same animation team is there, because they create an...
