Hôtel El layali — Hotel in Maghreb

We spent one night in Layeli on our way back to Tunis, booked in advance based on various reviews, price and location. To start with the last, the hotel is well based within walking distance of the old town, the train station and the louage station. At a very decent 85 DT, we consider it good value for money. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Well isolated window, so no worries about traffic noise in the night. Comfy bed, though the bed cover is a bit heavy on a warm night. Good hot shower, good pressure. Only minus point here was that the wall attachment was broken so you need to keep the shower head in your hand. |Staff was very friendly and welcoming, both in the evening and the next morning. Breakfast is quite basic, but enough to get you started for the day. |All in all quite a good experience, well...

Good base, but a tad overpriced.||||Staff are super friendly, location good, wifi good, breakfast very simple. ||||Would I stay here again? probably if it was a quick Sfax visit. No real comforts though...should probably be about $10...

Freindly welcoming hotel. Reasonably priced for the comfort and convenient location. Excellent Aircon! Forgot to take pictures of the room but it's covered by other reviewers. Great two night stay...
