One star only cause I cant put no stars! The room was comfortable but under no circumstances five stars! Our room had not been cleaned before we got in. As a result, there were hairs and cut nails on the floor and on the little table as well. There is no sound insulation in the room. You know at all times what the discussions are next door. The mini-bar was almost empty ! There was only water. The feeding area was so dirty that the floor was sticking! On dinner the lights turned off before we finished eating. On breakfast, the milk was expired, even if they put some new! That was nothing, thinking that there was A PIECE OF METAL (probably from opening the tin) in my jam!!!! The staff was generally rude. When we asked for a second card - key for our room the answer was “i ran out of cards!” in a very unkind way. Room service came the next day in 18:00, having already complained to the reception! They did not change bed sheets , only pillows cases !The wifi connection was rarely good! They could not understand English at all ! Not in the restaurant, not at the reception , defenatly not in the spa area! I booked a Turkish massage at 20:00 but it was canceled cause they thought it was at 17:00 ! It’s a shame for such a big hotel to be under that kind of managment!!!!! I would in no way recommend it ! I would characterize it utterly tragic! You should better not...
Read moreTurkey hotels have been nothing but DISAPPOINTING. Today we checked into this beautiful 5 Star property with an excellent location. The bathroom is nice with a tiny shower but it’s adequate. The hotel is near to a bunch of nice cafes and restaurants. The room is spacious and comfortable. After we entered the room we inserted our keycard to activate the electricity for the room. The room was warm since it’s a sunny day with temperatures at 72 Fahrenheit. After about 10min we noticed the room was getting not cooler, so I made my way down to the reception but the clerk didn’t speak much English, so she called the manager and he explained that it is winter time in Turkey from the beginning of Oct till the first of April and the turn the Aircon system off. I replayed but there is Aircon in the lobby but not the rooms? He said, that is how it is in Turkey. As I returned to the room I noticed that the WiFi also was not working inside our room, only in the lobby and hallways. Now I have been waiting for an hour for a technician to show up to get this issue fixed but so far now luck, I have gone downstairs and spoken to the receptionist and he insured me every-time that it will be fixed shortly. This is an accredited 5 star hotel and they can’t even have wifi in the rooms?? I would NOT recommend this...
