Troy Dolmus — Local services in Çanakkale Merkez

All you need to know: Take the minibus marked “TRUVA” to Troy. The left part of timetable is “when the minibus departs from Çanakkale” and the right part displays “when the minibus departs from Truva.” The bus takes about 40 minutes between Çanakkale and Troy, and the price is 100 TL one way (Jan 2025). The bus stops at the Troy Archaeological Site, so visit the ruin first. After the ruin, walk 10-15 minutes to the museum. I recommend 1.5-2hours for the ruin and 1-2 hours for the museum. The archaeological site is about architecture in Troy, like wall, house, Roman theater and etc., and the museum, displaying the pottery, coins and other stuff discovered in the site, introduces the history of Troy and the excavation of Troy. The museum also has many interactive displays. Due to the time slot of the bus, how long you can stay in Troy is 3 or 5 hours. Minibus to Troy departs from under the bridge named Atatürk Köprüsü, at the northern bank of the river. The bus is marked "Truva".
