FEBOR PARK HOTEL LEVENT — Hotel in Şişli

I booked the hotel as an overnight stay due to a long layover at Istanbul airport- it’s on the M11 Metro line. I picked it as there seemed to be a few restaurants nearby and I knew I would be arriving around 8pm. The metro took half an hour plus a confusing walk of around 25 mins to the hotel (unclear which exit to use). The hotel is down a dark road with a steep hill and not so easy to find. When I arrived I asked where I could get something to eat. The desk clerk said the hotel restaurant was closed as were all nearby restaurants. It seems they only open in the day to cater for office workers! Luckily I located another hotel nearby and managed to get a meal there. The room was ok with ac, fridge etc. Bad was comfy. Breakfast was disappointing - sloppy eggs, cremated croissants and toast, no coffee in machine, no fruit juice at all (the juice dispenser was filled with strange tasting water). The hotel seems to aim at the business market- strange then that the wifi was terrible. It barely worked in my room and wasn’t much better in reception. We stayed here for just a little over 2 weeks.. if you don’t want to spend too much money on a hotel and you just want a nice healthy breakfast and a place to sleep this is the place to go.. we explored a lot of Istanbul and just wanted a decent place to sleep shower etc.. Febor hotel was just perfect.. the breakfast was simple but very pleasant and healthy.. it had its basics but it did the job for a good breakfast.. they don’t have 50 different dishes for you it’s simple eggs veg bread nice and quick with a variety of hot drinks… I read a lot of comments mentioning the breakfast but honestly it was just right.. the hotels housekeeping was brilliant.. constantly clean towels fresh bedding etc… reception was very friendly and helpful… the place over all did a fantastic job.. people can’t moan about a place over small things when your not paying a lot for the amount they charge per night it’s cheap and decent… it was a great experience staying in istanbul.. Worst hotel ever I don’t recommend at All, We paid for the Room and we explained to them that we just want to put our luggage inside the room, after taking the money the manager Said only one person is allowed in the room!! And we were 3 persons and we explained to him before paying, we went to the room by force and the manager followed us and started knocking the door and he started yelling at us and fighting with us and at the end he Said leave the hotel I don’t want you here !! We asked for a refund he said No refund Its my hotel and i will do what ever i want, the manager and the staff were extremely rude and the manager fought with us and he started to get physical!! I don’t recommend this Hotel at all, place was disgusting and the staff was not professional at all, as for the manager we complained to the police about what happened and he will hear from them soon. Worst experience ever Don’t waste your money...
