4/5 for food 3/5 for service 2/5 for atmosphere
The food was really good and came out quickly. We had the brisket and marinated ribs. I definitely recommend the marinated ribs, they were sooo tender and flavorful. I wouldnt say that the kimchi is that good, I’ve definitely had better at another Korean restaurant in Istanbul.
The service was chaotic at best. There seemed to only be one garson who knew anything about things on the menu and he was trying to help five parties of guests at once. Also they brought the side dishes/mezes to our table but then a few minutes later took half of them away and put it on another guests table. Honest mistake but still a bit sloppy.
The atmosphere was not good at all. The restaurant is literally located down a back alleyway by a construction site. Of course that factor is out of the restaurant’s hands. What is in their hands, however is the second and perhaps worst thing about the atmosphere; they have an industrial cart that they bring out the side dishes on and it is incredibly loud and disruptive when they come wheeling it out. With how busy the restaurant was on a Friday night that cart came out about every five minutes. It really ruined any possibility to enjoy a relaxing meal. We got in and out of there as quickly as we could.
That said, I’d still recommend this place if you’re looking for Korean Barbecue in Istanbul…just don’t expect at 4 or 5...

Çam Sut Mangal stands out as a superb choice for Korean BBQ enthusiasts. Our drink of choice was Soju, served in a slightly larger glass than a traditional rakı glass, doubled up, and paired with beer. For a unique twist, tap the bottom of the glass with the back of your fork or knife a few times to mix and aerate the drink – the result is quite impressive.
The dining experience was akin to a Turkish kebab house style, with an array of mezes, among which the kimchi, herbed eggs, and sweet sauced apples 🍎 were particularly delightful. For soup, we opted for tripe enriched with exquisite spices – not my usual preference, but it proved to be a great choice when cooked over the fire.
The BBQ selection included marinated beef ribs, brisket, rib eye, and pork. The marinated ribs and pork were exceptionally delicious, though the pork seemed to yearn for an accompanying sauce. Additionally, the kimchi pancake was a standout among the sides.
While everything may not have been perfect, I left the restaurant thoroughly satisfied. It’s a place worth keeping in mind for those seeking a distinct and enjoyable...
Read moremake sure of what you can or you cannot eat. Ask for reservation and menu before you came. Located in central location yet not easy to find by google(sorry got to be honest man). if you are gona order soup , ask how big is the portions are:) and if you go there cuz of soju, like i did, make them reserve one for you cuz they were out. We spesifically asked for it , yet they didnt reserver one bottle for us. Korean dishes are spicy in general, keep that in mind. I havent been any other korean restaurant in Turkey, but the owner is korean and food was delicious if its for your taste. And they have table with stove to grill your meat as you wish. in brief even though i was severely disappointed by soju incident, i will definately...
