Melanj Airport Hotel — Hotel in Arnavutköy

The hotel was chosen for us as part of a longer trip. It was just for an overnight stop prior to our flight the following day.|On a positive note the hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful. |We had booked a standard double room. After staying in better quality hotels, this was a shock to the system . The room was very small and the bed so close to the window that my husband had to almost climb up the bed to get in it. I think that there are larger rooms available. If you want food the staff can order it in for you. We did not want to sit on the bed eating food and having it stinking out the room. There is nowhere else in the hotel to eat it.|We walked up to the top of the road to a main road where there is a large roundabout. We ate in a restaurant on the left hand corner OZ something. The restaurant only served one dish, kebabs with tomatoes and onions and flat bread. It was delicious and the staff very friendly. For westerners the area looks a little intimidating. Just ok to get a shower and bed between flights

Liked · Not far from the new IST Airport, you can get there and out there quickly and cheap by Uber. 24/7 reception wi-fi and air condition worked properly. Disliked · First of all the Hotel didn't want to accept my credit card via booking service and told me that they want to charge me inside the location after my arriving and if I need a room I need just to tell them that – it was weird. The room were so tiny as it can be there you can't place even one carry-on luggage case. Just in case – They don't have any alcohol drinks or food and can offer it for you extremely overpriced for EUR by cash only thats why If you need it, just grab some drinks and food at the Airport in advance. We had a long 20-hour layover in Istanbul and were desperate to find a hotel near the airport that was clean, comfortable, and affordable for our family of four. Melange Airport Hotel was exactly what we needed, and we were not disappointed. The rooms were simple but very clean, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient. The hotel also offered a shuttle service to and from the airport for €20, which made our stay even easier.

We did have a minor issue with the room key; it broke because it was too fragile. At first, the receptionist/manager asked us to pay for it, but once we explained the situation (and that we had to sleep without a proper lock), he quickly understood and resolved the matter without charging us.
