Pullman Istanbul Hotel & Convention Center — Hotel in Bahçelievler

I had a great experience at this hotel. I got this hotel through Turkish Airlines and was traveling with my little daughter alone. We had a 2-day stopover in Istanbul, my first time here so I was nervous. Well, the rooms are a bit old, but they are huge! We had a crazy jet lag so we missed our breakfast, can’t comment on that. The food from the restaurant was decent, and the service was courteous and fast. I got meatballs, very good! Their fries are simply amazing . Many elevators, fast. I asked a reception desk clerk to help me get a taxi cause it can be tricky for a foreigner in Turkey. The employee was so professional and nice; he helped me get the official taxi with a meter and helped us with our bag. I can’t thank him enough!! Only good impressions from staying there! The cleaning lady was super nice as well; she gave me some water and tea. Don’t hesitate to ask for help, the staff is very kind! Thank you for having us!

It's a nice hotel with great amenities such as a gym, pool, sauna, Turkish bath, etc, but I wish it was in a better location that has more things around it or if was closer to tourist areas. The service is slow sometimes (cleaning rooms, etc..) and for the price, they seem to be a bit miserly with the coffee or water. The rooms are nice and clean, with great bathrooms.

A very nice hotel. The rooms were very comfy and nice. It's the busiest hotel that I've ever seen. It was literally like an airport. There were always people checking in and out. So the lobby is constantly busy. The food was nice too. I hope to go back and stay longer here. I had a short one. Looking forward to another visit to Istanbul and Pullman.

Stayed here overnight with my Turkish Airlines flight. Absolutely stunning hotel with very modern amenities. More than enough rooms to accommodate all your entourage. We stayed on the 6th floor. It was quiet and peaceful. Had all the regular 4-star hotel requirements. Will definitely come back. Breakfast here was like Kings and Queens.

Very nice hotel and service, though to be able to get to any public transport stop or shopping mall, a taxi must be used. There is nothing close within walking distance.

Perfect facilities and very near to a mall and restaurants but very far from the center of the city and Istanbul's new airport. It will take max 1 hour to get there. The rest is good. Enjoy.

Love this hotel and the time spent there. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff are fantastic.

It's a good hotel for a 3-star one. The buffet dinner had a lot of items, and the food tasted okay. The room was clean and spacious. However, what surprised me was there was no air cooling even though the thermostat said it was cooling the room. I had to draw the curtains and wait for the nightfall to get to a lower temperature.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Stay at Pullman Hotel Istanbul

Dear General Manager,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel, which, unfortunately, was the worst Pullman experience I have ever had.

Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed that both the window curtain and bathroom blind were broken. Additionally, the shower was not functioning well, and the room itself was neither clean nor well-maintained—it was completely worn out. Despite raising these concerns, it took two days for the hotel to relocate us, and even then, the new room has a window that cannot be locked so noise and dusts from the street. Our room is Delux Executive room but there was no bathroom amenity, no coffee/tea, a very old coffee pot and a fridge with a broken door, dirty towels, no tissue box.

The quality of room service was equally disappointing. The food was so poor that we could not eat it. However, the most shocking experience was at your restaurant. We had to wait over 90 minutes for our food, while other guests who arrived an hour after us received their meals promptly. Not a single staff member offered any apology or explanation for this unacceptable delay. (Instead, the manager told us either to wait for another 30min to have food served and he would waive our bill, or just leave.)

To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with the General Manager, there was no response whatsoever. Given such a series of failures in service and hospitality, I am genuinely puzzled as to how this hotel maintains its five-star rating.

I expect a prompt response addressing these concerns, along with an explanation of how the hotel intends to improve its service standards to prevent future guests from experiencing similar issues.

Re : Urgent - Ongoing issues

I am currently on my seventh night at your hotel(due to the fully paid 8days booking), and I finally received an apology call from your room supervisor along with a small offering of dessert and fruit. While I appreciate the gesture, the underlying issues remain unresolved.

The air conditioning in my room has not been functioning properly, and the current temperature is an unbearable 29°C. To make matters worse, there is no water coming from the shower or the tap in the bathroom. It is now past 9 PM, and no technician has arrived to address these problems. As a result, I am unable to take a shower, which is unacceptable.

I am truly at a loss for words. This situation has been frustrating beyond measure, and I urge you to take...

I was genuinely looking forward to my stay at Pullman Istanbul, and it must be said: the lobby certainly makes a strong first impression. It’s modern, stylish, and gives the feel of a high-end hotel experience… but unfortunately, that feeling stops the moment you leave the public spaces.

The room itself left a lot to be desired. It was surprisingly bare, with very little in the way of comfort or thoughtful design. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, especially for hot water, and the layout seemed incomplete, like they wanted to give you more than just a toilet but then got lazy. It definitely does not feel and exude five stars, so don’t fall for the rating! The air conditioning was also poor, which made the room stuffy and uncomfortable throughout the night, you change the temp then change again after half an hour, they couldn’t even splurge on ambient room temperature sensors?

And what a doozy of a breakfast, I really wish I could’ve taken photos to show just how disappointing it was. Best believe I am NOT coming back and anyone who cares about hotel breakfasts should heed my call. There was certainly a wide spread, not really, no real variety. Ten kinds of of bread, but only one hot meat option: a spiced sausage that won’t suit every palate. The scrambled eggs were too runny, the mushrooms were more like soft mush, and there were barely any cheese options to speak of. Juice came from machines and are so sugary you might as well drink soda at 6:30 AM. Other than that, only water, tea, and coffee were available.

The restaurant itself is dark and didn’t feel like a welcoming place to start the day. It lacked warmth, charm, or anything that might make you want to linger a little longer with your meal.

Overall, it’s a hotel with a beautiful shell, but not much beneath the surface. I expected more, especially given the brand and the...
