Sahra Airport Hotel — Hotel in Küçükçekmece

Do not book here if you are a female! ||||This was the worst hotel service I have ever encountered. I was treated horribly by the man/chauvinist at the front counter. I was travelling with my elderly parents and sister. We booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and it would allow my parents time to rest before departing for our 3 am flight. We had no intention of staying longer than a few hours. Upon check in the disgusting excuse of a man at the counter told me I booked the room for 3 people which I acknowledge was a mistake on my part. I asked to pay the extra fee to have a fourth person in the room but I was denied. I than told the clerk that I would check my parents in and my Sister and I will leave to find another hotel close by as I did not want to disrupt my elderly parents. The clerk told me that I was not allowed to go upstairs with them and had to stay in the lobby. I than asked to see the hotel policy on this as I have stayed in many hotels and clients are always allowed to have guests stay for a certain period of time. At this point he got very aggressive and told me to “shut my mouth.” I was completely taken back. I said how dare you speak to me like this i want to speak to the manager or owner and he then says to me “shut up I am the owner.” I told him I would not be staying here nor place my parents in this hotel and that we would be leaving. He than turns to me and says if it wasn’t for my elderly dad sitting in the lobby he would have handled this situation differently. I took this as an immediate threat and told the clerk that he was disgusting. I am the one booking the room, I am the one paying for the room not my father, and had my father not been there how would he have handled his situation?! I took it to mean he would have gotten physical. We grabbed our luggage and immediately left the hotel. He was lucky I didn’t call the police and report him. If you are a woman do not stay in this hotel as it is unsafe and run by an abusive, chauvinistic man how feels it is right to kick out two elderly people because his policy was...

Di rientro dalla Thailandia avevamo una notte da trascorrere ad Istanbul.|Il nostro volo arrivava alle 18:00 e dovevamo ripresentarci in aeroporto alle 10 del mattino successivo, quindi cercavamo qualcosa di pratico in appoggio al volo. Abbiamo prenotato su Booking.com il Sahra Airport per l'accattivante offerta e la scelta è stata azzeccata! La notte tra il 3 ed il 4 di Ottobre, camera con colazione per € 35 + tassa di soggiorno (€39 totali).|Il taxi dall'aeroporto all'hotel vi costerà circa 10 / 15 lire. Dall'hotel all'aeroporto invece spenderete 20 / 25 lire. Rispondo a chi ha insinuato che l'hotel vuol dare la fregatura prendendo una 'commissione' dal tassista (secondo alcuni sarebbe il motivo per cui il ritorno costerebbe più dell'andata), signori è che al ritorno si paga la chiamata! Il taxi mica è di fronte all'hotel! La reception lo chiama appositamente e il tassista inizia a conteggiare la corsa dal momento della chiamata, non credo che in nessuna parte del Mondo fiunzioni in altro modo.|Accoglienza piacevole e receptionist cortese. Vengono date 2 bottigliette d'acqua.|Di fronte all'hotel un minimarket. Un aneddoto: eravamo nel minimarket appunto per acquistare sigarette, qualcosa da sgranocchiare e dell'acqua. Arriva il ragazzo della reception che ci vede prendere l'acqua e ci dice che non dobbiamo acquistarla, che lì è troppo cara e che lui poco prima ci aveva dato 2 bottigliette. Io rispondo lui che le ho già finite e lui mi ribadisce di non acquistarla. Mi faccio convincere, male male le prendo dal frigo bar, e invece al mio rientro in hotel è il receptionist che mi chiama e mi regala 3 bottigliette. Davvero cortese ed attento.|Camere piacevoli, buoni gli spazi e letti comodissimi. Moquette.|Aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante.|Ampio bagno nuovo.|Tutto ben pulito.|L'insonorizzazione manca, gli aerei che decollano passano sopra la struttura e creano rumore anche forte. Per il sonno basta l'uso di tappi per le orecchie (io li uso quotidianamente e sono abituata, non ho sentito nulla).|Colazione molto buona, ottimi prodotti e discreta varietà.|Buon rapporto...
