Just returned from a one weeks stay, the rooms are a little dated, but, it is a budget hotel and the staff work very hard, especially the cleaning staff. We had a couple of upsets from the very start with regards to staff, after addressing my complaints with Kris and Darragh our upset was quelled, it was quite evident that certain staff had been spoken to with regards to the complaints as their behaviour thereafter was totally different, so much so that their behaviour toward us came across as false and a little over the top tbh. The room was ample big enough for my husband, myself and our 13 Yr old daughter, the room that we had was a little dated but still, it was clean, we stayed in the, from what I can gather, the original block, room number B6. The balcony is useless to be honest, so, we used the front area for a coffee and a reprieve from the sun after a day at the beach or the pool but that meant we had to keep moving the furniture from the kitchen area. There wasn't any furniture on the proper balcony, it simply isn't big enough for any and looked onto how shall i put it, "Deadmans land," which is a shame as I like to sit in peace in the morning with a coffee to relax and come round. The front area where we used to sit was at the front where the doors to each apartment is, where everyone was busy coming and going, so you felt in peoples way, which wasnt very relaxing, same as when walking down the stairs you would pass other guests on the lower floor who where sat having a meal, drink or just chatting, you felt as though you were intruding. Please see photos. Both pools are the same depth at 1.50, there aren't any shallower ends to either of the pools, front or the pool around the back. The food was lovely, tbh the hotel served the best Turkish breakfast the whole time I was there and yes I did try a few from different places throughout the week. All in all, would I return, yes I probably would as the location to the beach was great. We used the beach more than the pool really, as, because this hotel has a lot of repeat customers who tend to use the pool area daily, namely big families who are well thought of by hotel staff, the atmosphere around the pool can get a little heated when it comes to the sunloungers. Even though the rule of placing towels on loungers no earlier than 8am exists, some guests would come down and literally sit on the loungers to ensure they get their regular spot. I have to positively say though, I did witness towels being removed if people weren't adhering to the 8am rule, but let's face it, you can't physically remove the people. We attended the hotels bbq night, it was lovely, the food made it for me I think. Obviously it was night time and yes it is when cockroaches seem to want to play, especially as you're in a hot country. Thankfully we didn't see any in our room, just around the bar area. There's daily bingo, but this isn't always definate, or wasn't when we were there. I suffer with bad knees and have to say, the steps are steep, even the ones up to the bedroom, there arent any lifts. This is mentioned in the description of the hotel so really I can't complain. My biggest problem was the amount of repeat guests who think they own the place and can do what they wish and to a certain extent and the fact that this is tolerated by hotel staff, that is probably why they are repeat customers, who rave about this place. Let's put it this way, nobody went out of their way to say goodbye to us apart from Kris, like they did to greet or wave goodbye to the guests that repeat the same holiday here, year after year. Perhaps they are those that give it a sparkling review. I don't believe in dressing things up, tell it how it is always read between the lines. This is a positive honest review of our feelings toward this hotel that I can give.

I mean, where do I start. I booked this hotel based on the reviews as I am a single parent travelling with my 3 teenagers and I’m currently in the airport transfer where one of my daughters is very teary eyed as she doesn’t want to leave. It’s not Gumbet, it’s the hotel and staff that she will miss. It really is a home away from home and you leave feeling like part of the family. She said to me that she feels like she has gained 5 new Dads. It was my first time in Turkey and I’m already looking at dates to come back and stay at Greenhouse again. We want to pack all of the staff in our bags and bring them home with us. They really do leave an impression and that makes it difficult to say goodbye, even if it’s just for now. They truly work so hard to ensure that you are having the best time and nothing is too much. As soon as a drink has been spilled, they have the hose out and the floor cleaned. If they see you trying to put a parasol up, they swoop in and do it for you. My son’s pool inflatable had a puncture, it was taken away and came back inflated and repaired. The cleaners work around the clock and the food is excellent value for money. The hotel|Is super clean. Other than the boat trip, we don’t venture out because we had everything we needed. My son even fell sick and within 2 mins of me telling Engin, we had a driver and were in the clinic, IV in arm within 5 mins. Thank you so much Hero, Engin, Umit, Mehmet, Ahmet, Chef Azad and everybody else that made our holiday. This has been the best holiday we’ve ever been on and have made friends for life. The barbecue night was great fun. We highly recommend it if you’re there on a Wednesday night. The staff are truly amazing. My daughter lived on the homemade Limonata and the prices for drinks were super cheap compared to the UK. I can’t recommend this hidden gem enough. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for gifting us some of the best memories and new found friendships. We can’t wait to come back and we haven’t even got to the airport yet. We love you all and will keep in touch. Lots of love, Terri, Bella,...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As you walk into this hotel the staff are really friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The reception was really helpful and they welcomed us with open arms. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff are really kind and funny they will have a good chat with you and they are really good with the kids as they talk to them and have jokes with them too. Also the cleaning staff are really friendly too and they do an amazing job at cleaning the rooms! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The reservation is really good too, there are 2 big swimming pool with 2 kids pools attached to them with metal bars that stop children from getting into the big pool, both pools are 150cm and the kids pool is 50cm. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are alot of sunbeds surrounding the pool and they are really comfy, but I recommend bringing a towel as the sunbeds do get hot as the sun is on them.⛱️☀️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The bar staff are really friendly too and the drinks are affordable and nice, they have there own homemade lemonade which is fresh and really nice, so if you do not like alcohol there are many other different drinks here for non alcoholics. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are also events that take place during the day like bingo where you can win money in Turkish money, the winner usually gets 2000-6000 Turkish Lira. Also there is a pool table here that is free to use! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So overall I would really recommend...
