We stayed 2 weeks in the Ozukara 1 apartments from the 14th to 28th of June. When we arrived they had given us a double room, for my mum and me. The manager was very quick to realise this and offered us a twin room number 115. The room wasn't ready but was quickly cleaned. It was very spacious for the 2 of us and they made the sofa bed up for me in the living room. The Wi-Fi was great in our room. It was 20 pounds for the safe in the room for 2 weeks. The apartment was across the road from the Ozukara so we had to cross the road to get to the pool.||||The pool was great with music all day from Farouk the barman mostly cheesy 80's but I like that anyway. For the 2 weeks we we're there the pool was quiet. You could get drinks from the bar and if you wanted to they would get you food from the restaurant. ||||The restaurant was part of the hotel so you got 10% discount for being a guest. We ate breakfast and tea at the restaurant most days I recommend the Turkish breakfast it was only 100 lira. The staff there are great and always made you feel welcome nothing was too much trouble. Plus where it's located at the top of the hill you can spend ages just people watching with an Efes larger. They have a charcoal grill and I recommend the kebabs. ||||There's also a supermarket attached to the hotel and this stocked most things you need like water and milk oh and Efes larger. The fruit is changed every day. I changed money in there a few times and was happy with the rate. Overall all the staff in the shop, restaurant and reception was all great. ||||The only gripe we had was the lack of patio furniture for the spacious balcony. You could use the chairs from the apartment however they are not very comfortable...
Read moreHaving read many negative comments, I thought I had made a mistake booking here. I arrived after a quiet, peaceful 2 weeks in Kos as I wanted to spend a few days in the Bodrum area.|I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. Very well equipped, although I did not really use any of the facilities. It has a huge balcony, with beautiful view over Gumbet and pool view. No balcony furniture, which was a shame. I just used an indoor chair to sit out. There is a clothes line, but no pegs provided which you need otherwise things blow away. Plenty of hot water, hairdryer, soap and cleaned every 3 days. |Pool area is lovelly, although the music was a bit loud at times. There is a supermarket next door, very well stocked and not too expensive.||I had read many reviews about the noise level from the nearby clubs, but honestly, with the windows closed it was minimal. Doesn't really start until very late (after my bedtime) but goes on until 4am. Mostly Turkish music. The rooms further away from reception, over the pool are probably quieter. ||Hotel is very central. Gumbet itself is loud and noisy in places, but still possible to find quiet areas like the council run cafe, and lovelly walk along the marina. Lots of British type bars and shops selling cheap fake goods. I just used the hotel as a base to explore Bodrum and the surrounding areas all...
Read moreThe check in was okay stayed for one night and that was enough should nee there for two weeks . The staff are not the slightest bit helpful I was having issues with the room door had to kick it to open everytime always jammed. The shower enclosure did not close at all even trying to pull the doors they would not move and all the fixtures in bathroom were loose and hanging off wall there was also a switch on wall which was not fitted correctly gap wide open on wall. When I spoke to reception they would and could not do anything to repair or fix. Because the manager was on a day off they also would not move me to another room without a extra cost to me despite the fact that all the faults were with the hotel and not me. I did not see why I had to pay extra to get another room how they got the three stars I am not sure as they do not deserve these I would possibly rate them one star. My advise if you want a nice pleasant and relaxing stay this is not the hotel for you. If you want a hotel like faulty towers this is the hotel would never book this place again nor recommend it to anyone very...
