I just don’t understand why people love this place so much! I just don’t see why...
If you are looking for comfort and luxury (just a little bit) this place won’t give you that!
We went for 4 days for our honeymoon. I was really disappointed, a big time.
The room is exactly as you see in the pictures we stayed in jacuzzi suit, however something is missing, there is not any kind of design or planning in the rooms.
They just took the old, village style furnitures and put it in the room, there is no design or whatsoever. My grandmother have also this kind of bedroom with the same lacking of amenities. the air conditioning, tv and jacuzzi are really old and cheap. Jacuzzi has rust on it for god’s sake.
I also want to talk about the little things, like shampoo, soap, slippers and... toilet paper, everything has the lowest quality, the cheapest you can imagine and the toilet paper is the worst it is not a toilet paper it is a sandpaper! I mean the money i have paid or even for lower prices, i could stay in the very best hotels in fethiye or Kas. In Fidanka, for 6.500tl you cant even have a proper toilet paper.
Staff were kind and nice, dinner was nice. Breakfast was average.

Read moreWow- what a magical time we had at Fidanka's Stone House at Kaleköy Üçağız. The only way to get there was by boat, so we were picked up by one at Üçağız harbor and then dropped at Kaleköy. Captain Mevlüt and his staff helped us carry all our luggage to the house- which is just a minute-long walk. The two-story house is located right in the heart of Kaleköy, surrounded by a well-maintained, beautiful, and lush garden. Downstairs features a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom, as well as a single bed bedroom with a living area and a fireplace. The upstairs features the master bedroom with a bathroom that has high ceilings with such beautiful wooden furniture here and there. Everything was obviously very well thought out, and we found so many amenities that we thought we wouldn't even need it. And then you take a step to the porch... Such an amazing view. We spent so many nights here star watching all in serene silence after all the tour boats were gone, and we were the only ones left with the residents in Kaleköy.
Kaleköy itself is an experience on its own: From 10.00 to 18.00 it is super crowded with the tour boats coming in and out, but right after 18.00 it starts to get peaceful, and our habit was taking a bottle of chilled wine and climb to the castle to watch the sunset every evening. There are a few restaurants that stay open at night and each night we dined at one of them. The night would then proceed to star-watching on our lovely porch :) We also took a private boat tour with Captain Mevlüt's dad, who is such a charming guy and his wife cooked us delicious mezzes on top of grilled fish.
I can write and write about how magical this stay was, but truly, sometimes words cannot describe reality. This place has given us unforgettable memories that we will treasure forever. We reconnected with nature, with each other, and with the mystical atmosphere of Kaleköy. Fidanka's carefully curated Stone House made this experience one-of-a-kind, and we can't wait to go back to this sanctuary once again. Thank you so much for this...
Read moreI am not sure how something like this can be built. It probably takes more than a decade to grow all those beautiful plants and flowers in such harmony with the buildings. As if everyone inside was forced to sleep for a hundred years and the plants covered everything like in "Beauty and the Beast". Interior design is also incredible, the use of wood, the terraces, the potted plants in the terraces, the privacy you can get in such a small place... I can't remember making so many edits in any of my reviews as I found it really hard to express. This place could be the photographic explanation of "boutique".
It is so easy to get help, all you need is sending a whatsapp message. Friendly staff, always ready to go the extra mile to help.
The restaurant inside is also great; again kind of hidden within the plants and flowers. Good variety of wine. Tasty food. Note that it is always busy for dinner as it accepts guests from outside. (don't forget to whatsapp that you want to have your dinner at the restaurant on that specific day). On a side note, if you will stay for longer than a night, they make a few recommendations. I recommend noting them as I had the opportunity to visit a few and they all turned out to be great. My favorite was dinner at Salonika Restaurant.
Great view. Will try adding a few photos. Great location as well. Very close to Kalkan Beach Club. Green Beach (right next to Kalkan Beach Club) which is a quieter and smaller beach also accepts...
