Kalkan Beach Park & Hotel — Restaurant in Kaş

I made a reservation one day in advance after visiting the hotel to check out a similar room. However, upon arriving for check-in, I was informed that my reserved room had been given to a tourism agency with priority. Although no similar room was available, the hotel offered an alternative room at a discounted rate. We accepted the new room.

During our stay, we encountered an issue with the room's door not locking properly. We promptly reported this to the staff, who assured us that the technical team would address it. They mentioned that the presence of security cameras minimized any security concerns, so we left the door unlocked while we went out.

The hotel's beach area disappointed us; it lacked cleanliness, order, hygiene, and effective communication among the staff. It seemed that you needed to pay extra for better services. When the sea was calm, it was a beautiful spot.

Returning to our room before dinner, we discovered that the door lock issue persisted. We took showers and went out for the evening. Upon returning at midnight, we found numerous insects on the room's floor. Concerned for our health, we went to the reception and requested a room change. Unfortunately, they claimed there were no available rooms and offered us medication instead.

At 12:00 AM, they informed us that they couldn't find a room within their hotel or elsewhere. They offered to refund our payment and arrange accommodation later. Eventually, they located a room in a neighboring hotel, which we had no choice but to accept, incurring extra costs. However, they could only process the refund the following evening, after working hours, through phone calls. In my opinion, people should never go...

This hotel has a great location and a beach area, it is located in a quiet and very beautiful place full of olive trees. The rooms are really nice at least they seem to be. The air conditioner works terribly bed or you are freezing or suffocating. The curtains don’t cover all of the panoramic windows and the light comes in the room. But the biggest disappointment is the bathroom! The toilet is so close to the wall so every time you sit you can’t help hurting yourself of the toilet paper holder and the toilet itself is leaking!!! The drains in the shower and in the sink both work really bad, in twenty seconds they both become full of water that doesn’t cone out. The towel hanger is broken so it is absent. And the bathroom is also full of ants and other insects. There are some insects in the room as well. I really disappointed that the hotel management doesn’t try to repair such simple things and doesn’t care about the proper room (especially bathroom) cleaning and anti-insects treatment. We’ve just arrived today and have spent a lot if time in town, the receptionist promised to look for another room for us tomorrow as today all of them are occupied. So I looking forward to changing the room tomorrow, I hope it will change my opinion about the hotel. Besides tomorrow is my husband’s birthday, I wanted to be in a nice comfortable place with my family, not in the leaking toilet with no drained...

Location of this hotel is great. However there is serious management issue. It took us 1 hr to complete the check in. First, we could not find a receptionist for 5 min. Then we were told we need to wait to get into our rooms (503 and 504) because they just had sprayed pesticide to our rooms. There was a serious pest problem… Then there was instant bad odor in rooms (one less than other one) as soon as we entered them. They promised to clean one of the rooms again. On second inspection the room did not smell as bad. However the odor was worse over night. It turns out there was one unfinished small window at the bathroom which happened to be next to a public bathroom. The room would instantly fill up with bad odor with the slightest breeze. We complained again but we were told there are no other rooms. Hence we had to leave 3 nights early and book at another hotel. Each time at reception was a long wait with no clear idea where the staff could be found… The worst experience so far… the manager reached out a day later and repeatedly apologized. He promised us a free vacation for another time. He requested IBAN number for possible refund, however it is still pending...
