I visited the hotel in August 2016. I have been to many 4 star hotels and this did not quite meet the standard I expected. Firstly if you have mobility issues keep in mind the hotel has no lifts. ||||At first entrance the hotel looked nice. The man at the lobby - Cihan bey - was very friendly. I feel harsh to say the only good thing about this hotel was Cihan bey and the location. ||||The room we were given was appalling! Very old, some areas were even mouldy! The door would not shut properly so we also had a safety issue (once this was reported the door was fixed quick). This was definitely the worst hotel room I have ever seen. We went back to the lobby and was then kindly given the option of two other rooms. The two rooms however were no different to the first one we were given but were however on 3rd floor (no lifts) and so we decided to remain in our own room. We were told that there was a new block (E block) which was modern and new however there was no rooms available there - so if booking with a family (E block is for families) I would advice that apartment. ||||The food was also not great. Lunch was bad. Dinner was worse. I am from turkey and even to me and my husband the food was awful. Over the 4 night we stayed only one night the dinner was enjoyable. There is always the option of one chicken and one fish dish and sometimes red meat. As a red meat lover the meat here really wasn't edible. It was something you wouldn't feed your dog! The desserts were the only thing we ate without complaining. At 5-6pm there is cake hour - we stocked up then as that itself was ok. The drinks were ok - we didn't complain. ||||The pool itself was nice. We mainly used the one next to E block as it was more quiet. The main pool was large and fun to. The slide was great fun even for us adults. There is also a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach and back. The private beach was clean and enjoyable. ||||As for the Russians in the hotel - I agree with most people. I didn't find them rude as some have mentioned on the contrary quite fun and entertaining however the hotel seem to have a we only care for the Russians approach. Even on karaoke night the songs were Russian and so only they could take part. Also the animation team mainly spoke Russian so it was them who participated the most. As both an English and Turkish speaker I didn't understand the majority of what was happening. ||||The location of the hotel was the best thing for us. It was in Kemer city centre so you had the shops, moonlight park and the clock tower within walking distance. I would advice you rent out the chargeable scooter bikes as they were great fun and we managed to go all over Kemer with them. ||||The animation team was ok, I found Mashallah (he has branded himself an Spanish/Italian nickname which I have forgotten) quite annoying. The other member was a delight and very attentive. However he spent the majority of his time as a 'DJ'. ||||On the whole I would not recommend this hotel - although it was affordable we would have preferred to pay a little more and stay at a...
Read moreProper accomodation service with cozy room, but it is more like a 3 star and not a 4 star hotel, especially considering the quality of a standard room. The fridge was out of order, our request and the request of our local guide in order to check it was not enough to do anything with it, yet we really would have preferred to have some cold water in that extremely hot weather. Wi-fi is only free at the reception, but the speed is depending on how many people use it. In order to have wi-fi connection everywhere else in the hotel one should pay 1 $ per day, but at least for 7 days. After 3 days stay I decided to buy it and I was really disappointed experiencing that the quality was still a total crap. The swimming pool was nice, and you can rent towels for outside use for a 30 lira deposit beside daily possibility for changing. As a vegetarian, I was satisfied with the food choices, really various, fresh and tasty, but my boyfriend was missing a wider range of meat options. Desserts, snacks, fruits were also great. Free drinks included in all inclusive were not so high quality, every coctail we tried had the same, pretty sweet taste, and the wines were simply horrible, especially the white one. Efes beer is ok, but of course not a premium quality. There were regular bus travels to the beach and back during all the day, but without climate system and the bus was crowded every single time, so it was not really pleasant. As the hotel and the whole city is prepared to host mainly only russian guests, we, hungarians felt a little bit uncomfortable as it was a challange to communicate in english with most of the people and the descriptions, programs, music were also mainly in Russian. It was also also unusual to see and experience that all the time a lot of sreet cats were hanging at the whole area of the building, especially at the time of meal times they were going under the tables where people were eating and waiting for snacks, other times I saw they were even on the top of the tables and the sofas at the reception. I admire cats, I also gave them some snacks and I know it is a common thing in whole Turkey to let in cats everywhere like this, but I think it is really unhygienic because nobody took care of them properly, nobody took them to the vet for a check and they can carry a lot of bacteria, disease, not speaking about the people wo have allergy to their furs. Good thing that it is in the centre of Kemer, close to the main street and a lot of...
Read moreFrom where to start?First-this is not a hotel with 4 stars!Maybe 3. ||Hotel is located in center of Kemer, but very far from the beach, min 20 minutes on foot. They organize a transport, you have to see it to belive it. Old, dirty bus, nobody in that area have that kind of transportation. Always overcrowded, people litteraly hanging at the open door, safety issues maybe???||Food-all inclusive, dinner was eatible, other meals not for humans. Most disgusting was that they had cats in dining room, they walk around the tabels with food. When i saw that,i just stop eating there. ||They have a pool, many activities during the day. But. Everything is on russian, If you are not a Russian they don't want to talk to you. Beach bar is open at 10 in the morning with very loud music all day, they paused from 17h-19h i continue until 23h30min every night. So you can understand you can't rest during the day in the hotel at all. ||Hotel have bloks A,B,C etc..Some rooms are new, some don't. What you get is lottery. That also is not standard for 4 stars. Everybody should get the same service. ||The rooms are small, closet space very small, bathroom very bad, small, cuople time we run out of hot water. Also until 23h is animation ih hotel next this one. Also you can't sleep beacuse you can hear them to. ||Reception is ridiculous. Some gays who think they now something about tourism. Nothing about fameuos turkish hospitality. We felt that when we go out on the beach, streat, restorans...This people looks to me as clasic fraudsters, they look how to avoid to spend on guests, not to make our holliday nice. ||We were in Turkey before this visit, and like this country very much. Lucky, this hotel wasn't out first contact with this country, we will never come back again. ||My advice, go to other hotels in Kemer, this one most learn how to respect the people who paid...
