Emniyet Restaurant — Restaurant in Konak

This is the worst price/value ratio in any Turkish restaurant I've been at. The prices are crazy, the portions are ridiculously small and the food is simply not tasty. I saw another comment in this review section about expensiveness and small portions, this is all true! The only thing I don't understand is that why I saw so many locals inside. You would think they charged me more then locals, but no, I went to the counter and grabbed the menu in Turkish language and compared the prices, they were the same as in English menu. Just avoid this place.

PS: I see they've replied to me, this is not what I ordered, I don't know what a "meze" is. But my comment is 100% valid for...

Cheap food but also small portions (fried squid dish was the main one, look how small). Zero understanding of English (only an English menu). Our order was partially wrong. We ordered a white wine (saying many times that we want white) and we got a red one. This was easier to exchange but in the case of the wrong dish we just gave up cause it was pointless. Not very friendly waiter, neither trying to help while...

The fish is good here - if you stay with seafood, you will be happy. Apart from the lamb chop, the meat felt low-quality and came to me cold - I had a major stomach ache after eating it. Additionally, my food came a long time before my girlfriend's food arrived. So it was a mediocre food experience at best, and not a good value...
