Hüner Apart — Hotel in Marmaris

Arrived late at night with a pram 4wks of luggage and an irrate toddler. No help getting up steps to reception woman just sat there with a bottle of pink gin and watched us struggle. ||||Room consists of kitchen lounge area, no TV,not kettle as such, a fridge but no freezer compartment, no phone to reception,the baby's cot as there's no room in bedroom, a bedroom with single beds wardrobes in the hall (for want of better word) and shower /toilet.||||Shower floods with every use, cables accessible so the baby found out but pulling an ill fitting cover out of the wall. ||||Pool has no shallow end so literally sink or swim it's your choice. You get charged 40tl for using inflatables that previous holiday makers have left behind (I'm taking my newly acquired but not need inflatable home out of spite)||||There's no wheelchair access so don't bother coming if you can't do stairs there's no lift or ramps. ||||Rooms are "cleaned" daily minus toilet and sink. Sheets are cleaned every 3 days quite why I'm looking at the same brown stain after 4weeks baffles me though.||||Your charged 1 - 2tl for a cup of ice cubes depending on size of cup (5tl can buy you bag but you have nowhere to store it).||||The family part of their description is that it's family run and they command reception and either ignore you or judge you or remind you to pay for air con (£40pw) if your so much as a day late and switch of WiFi after midnight until 10am.||||Good luck all who come here once and I salute those that...

What can I say||Arrived about 11:30pm to be told they only had a booking for 4 people even tho we book for 8 so had to wait with 6 children while they made up more beds... ||||The hotel rooms||Very dated and need updating (see pictures) the socket where the hob was ment to be plugged in was burnt out there was no kettle or toaster for self catering this is poor (can’t even hire them) Air condition is £40 a week a little on the high side ... The shower curtain pole was tied to the ceiling but feel apart every time you tried to close it but the water still went everywhere as the shower as curtain only covered 2 sides ... The pool is great if you don’t mind not touching the floor as it’s one level all over 175cm and the kids pool is tiny and you get the adults who don’t like not being able to touch the floor in there||Location ||The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk to the main bars and restaurant and beach |About 20-25 min to the main town and harbour|About 5-10 walk to other local bars and shops|There a lovely corner shop 2...

We stayed at this hotel just 2 nights and that was due to countless issues at our original hotel. ||Bob and his family were amazing and welcomed us at short notice on Saturday evening. ||Good size pool, apartment was a good size and had one bedroom twin beds, sofa bed in lounge that’s quite big, shower and kitchenette with 2 electric rings, kettles and fridge. ||Although self catering you can get poolside snacks at a reasonable price. ||The bar is situated by the pool with a seating area with shade. ||We will be returning esp since meeting guests that have been going yearly since 2009!!! ||The welcoming is out of this world. Nothing is too much trouble and all the family are more than happy to create a relationship with you. ||Highly recommend this apartment...
