When you arrive at the hotel they take your luggage to your room for you, great service straight away and water topped up in your fridge every day if low on it for free! The Turkish spa treatments they offered was great, my partner and I enjoyed every moment of it and was treated like royalty and it may have been £80 but it was for the whole package and we would have to pay way over £200 back at home so it was definitely worth it and highly recommend it and not to mention the staff were incredibly nice and explain what all types of benefits you get from the treatments and gave us free block of soap and mit each at the end! The two boys that lead the entertainment (Simba & Borac) the whole day they never failed to make us laugh, everyone loved them, they take a lot of time to make their guests enjoy their time around the pool. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and freshly made bed so overall clean hotel and large balcony to relax on. The evening staff during the entertainment always came over collected your empty cups and offer you another drink with a smile. We also had a very late flight and check out was 12:00 however, they put our luggage away for us, let’s us still use showers and changing rooms and use the all inclusive till we left for our flight which was very nice of them to do so. The food was amazing, it looked amazing and made you want to try everything and was very indulging. The pool area is very relaxing and calm with being adult only you could just sleep in your sun beds or use floatables around the pool and not be bothered. However the hotel did have its downs…Evening entertainment started at 10pm, that’s quite late and for those who are tired just couldn’t sleep as the music would be so loud and the walls are very thin you can hear others talk in the other rooms so if your room is near entrainment you won’t sleep. Staff behind the bar did not smile and got drinks wrong because they rushed us off and didn’t listen. The drink options are very limited and sometimes tasted awful and not to mention they ran out of a lot of drink supply one of the days and one of the gentlemen bar staff was very rude and always argued with the young lady which never seemed necessary! You have to pay to be involved in evening entertainment like bingo, which most hotels don’t usually charge for so you will need to have money on you if you wish to join in. They also put rules about sun beds not being able to be claimed for before 8am yet we woke up at 6am to sit on the balcony for the sunrise to find towels are already taking up most sun beds and most of the time the people don’t use them till mid day which is unfair for many guests! They also played the same songs all day everyday so the music is way too repetitive. The place doesn’t provide much information regards to ingredients in their food, the hotel isn’t a place for those with nut allergies or lactose. Overall it’s a good hotel if you’re happy with simple, but it’s not a place to be if you want more variety of evening entertainment & drink options. Thank you to the two boys for the entertainment, waiters that served us every night, cleaners, the spa staff and reception staff you guys are amazing and very grateful for the service...
Read moreThis was my first time in turkey and first time at this hotel. My partners been to turkey before and family come yearly so I thought lets try it out! I absolutley loved the country, beautiful sights, good weather, good shopping. The hotel on the other hand i would not reccomend.
The room was very small. Enough for two people but even then we were clambering over each other to move around, bed was a mortuary slab and very stiff. The hotel itself is very clean and the maids do a lovely job in cleaning your room and very friendly. However thats where my praise ends.
The staff including management were not helpful in anyway shape or form (my partner cut her toe whilst at the hotel, when we asked if they had a plaster they told us to go into town and buy one).
The entertainmant was minimal, bit of bingo, a belly dancer one night out of the week but apart from that felt very quiet. The pool is small and very overcrowded when it comes to sun beds (literally laying on top of the person next to you, so i hope you like them!)
The food is very repetitive, all the same stuff reheated but most of time its luke warm to cold at best. They do cook some things fresh such as fried egg/omlette (actually quite tasty) and bits of meat in evening on the grill.
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGEN OR INTOLLERENCE. They will not cater for you and they really do not care. My partner has a gluten allergy. Everything is listed to contain wheat, even things like plain chicken breast they throw some wheat and other seasoning on. We spoke to management to see if we could just have ONE plain peice of chicken (not too much of a silly request considering you pay for all inclusive and there was nothing else she could eat) however told that request was too much, and we jusy had to deal with it, which resulted in us eating out at resturants most days (baring in mind at thr moment of writing this, turkey is pricey and it cost over £100 for 3 meals out. This was a HUGE let down for us as we are not picky people, shes happy to just have salad and plain chicken but again they are not willing to cater for single guests. (Baring in mind there were at least 10 guests around the pool that were all struggling with similar issues. We bought our own gluten free bread and other bits as we understand it can be tricky but to felt like they could of not covered at leaat one bit of chicken in gluten. We were advised there was plenty of other choices (which there were) but ALL of them had some sort of covering, even the grilled fish was battered.
The waiters took a few days to actually speak to us, but were friendly when they did! The service was very minimal and it is a get everything your self kind of place.
The location is right behind main strip, 5 minutrs from the beach. and id say is best thing about the hotel.
Overally we loved turkey and we are looking to come next year, but i would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. It certianly didnt feel like a 4 star. Ive seen a lot of really great reviews and people saying how much they love it here, maybe we just had a bad experience but just trying...
Read morethe hotel is immaculate, the team are constantly clearing and cleaning. the rooms are of a decent size, in good decorative order, hot water & decent water pressure on demand, and A/C that really worked and was really needed!! The hygiene team cleaned the room daily and were very pleasant.
The team in other areas, specifically the restaurant, café, bar seating areas were absolutely amazing. They were again, always clearing up after us messy guests. When they came to collect glasses they'd ask if you'd like a refill and would get that for you. After a couple of days they learned what we usually ordered and when they saw us coming to the outdoor seating are they'd either have the drinks at the bar waiting for us or they'd direct us to a table that they'd just put our drinks on and asked if we were happy. They always appeared happy, they were always polite and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and enjoy our stay. The shift managers appeared to have a good working relationship with their team and I spoke with one of them regularly and he was very approachable and friendly and got stuck in with the clearing and cleaning himself.
The food was very good, varied each day - a mixture of hot, cold, and grilled food outside. There was a wide range of meat based, and veggie food options along with the usual hotel desserts and fresh fruit everyday.
the pool actually wasn't freezing, and when I was at the hotel, most of my time was spent in the pool. There was the usual sunbed issue which every hotel suffers, but despite the size of the hotel and the pool area, there were a lot of sunbeds and assistants around to move / put out more beds if required.
My wife & i only have 1 little complaint and 1 concern. The complaint was that, for us, the beds were a little too firm; but each to their own, others may not have had a problem.
the concern was that the luggage room was no longer used. Instead a room with an opaque glass door and a wall with a decorative cut-out design in it opposite the reception are is now used. Now this may seem perfectly fine however, this room is immediately adjacent to the hotel entrance and there is no control over the use of this room, people can enter when they like, and the reception team, when I was watching, didn't appear to acknowledge when people entered / left the room and the team can't directly see into the room, instead, relying on a camera in the room. the issue being the camera won't jump out and stop anyone from stealing / interfering with other's luggage. Also no identifying tags or identifying feature was placed on luggage. I could go into the room, select a nice piece of luggage and walk out of the hotel and see what I go out with and no one would know until the owner went in to find their luggage missing.
The hotel is a solid 4 start hotel, the service level is a high 4 star. I hope the management team recognise their best asset - the people. I hope that tips put in the tip boxes do actually go to these wonderful hard...
