Arrived late at night at reception taken to the room woke up next day to a fantastic view.||At that point. I thought made the perfect choice hotel ||( how wrong can one get )|| First impression lovey hotel And im not. Wanting to be Disrespectful to staff with this review || The gentleman that supports the beach side with the towels think he should manage the hotel seemed to be doing everything and would do a fab job ||||We stayed on level 4 Rooms Was very tired A white carpet That’s well past it’s age with stains . cigarette burns on furniture ||The fridge was supplied with water and orange juice, and this was topped up daily if needed||In a seven day stay, we had the room cleaned three times and I had to contact management twice to ask for toilet rolls which should be supplied on a daily basis. ||There is air-conditioning free of charge however, the television only had one English speaking channel, so there is no satellite TV system in the hotel ||The layout to the hotel is quite unusual you have to go down to L1 which is reception area, and if you want a drink you have to go down to ground level poolside bar|| There is no entertainment nothing but a small speaker above bar white wine ( paint stripper ) red wine larger raki ||Free the rest is charged for||Second night I waited ten minutes while bartender used toilet came back 2305 to be told to late to order ||Total joke asked to speak to manager Sorry no||In morning I asked how many bars in hotel got told two Poolside Bar and restaurant bar ||Wanting a white wine at the poolside one evening got told to go get one in restaurant ||I should have realised that the place is a joke when I asked at the poolside bar for a beer and a coke and he poured it into the same glass and looked at me confused. How much experience do you need to get that right?||I do think there is only about four staff managing the outside area of hotel all week || The food at the restaurant is beyond disgusting Has to be the worst food I’ve eaten in Turkey in an all inclusive hotel ||Breakfast only day I seen a fried egg was on a Tuesday morning every other day was boiled eggs Stuff that looked like cabbage And broccoli with sludge type stuff ||Toast every morning then the toaster broke no toast total joke||Evening meals were no better nothing to say what is on offer no description just fingers crossed ||fish, rice, beef, stew and potatoes and of course chicken. Every single day .There was a selection of cakes miniature cakes. Same thing every single day. If you wanted butter you needed to ask for it in the evening .||||by this time I realised you could only eat the soup and bread and butter when you asked the staff for butter, they would disappear into the back room 2 minutes later, bring you out two little blocks||The staff hung around the table for you to finish your meal. If you could get a tidy meal to rush your plates away to get them washed. |||| On departure we had a late flight back home but had to check out by twelve All suitcases put in side room Even then had a problem trying to have a shower and change clothes to leave only after complaining with staff and reception that Wewas allowed to use showers in fitnes room|||| All in all by the third day we wanted. To leave However no reps in hotel and We booked this with on the beach They will get a letter of concerns || ||Having had tour of hotel next door the sea star For not that much more money I’m Absolutely fuming that I got take in by some reviews on here saying it fabulous|| The view is but this come at a price||For poor management ||This should be renamed fault...
Read morePLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING - We checked out 6 days before our check out date and moved hotel.
Upon arrival, we were given no information as to where our rooms were, where the facilities are located or even offered a safety deposit box (we had read on reviews people had watches and jewellery stollen). But we did however get told that ice cream is between 15:00-16:00, when we asked where our room was located, ‘ice-cream is between 3 and 4’ we then realised English isn’t the first language in this hotel.
Onto the room, we noticed on arrival stains on the walls, the door to the balcony didn’t have a lock on and the wardrobe door handle also fell off, there was thick insulated carpet down on the floor which made the room unbelievably hot. So obviously air conditioning is almost a necessity to staying in this room due to the heat being held, after 2 days I have developed a chesty cough and was being sick in a morning (we thought that might’ve been down to the A/C) my partner then looked closely at the A/C unit and found that there was black like mould on the inside of the unit with some spilling out onto the outside of the unit, see attached).
The food was inedible, we had choice of toast or cereal and that was it, the rest of the food was local food that didn’t appeal to us, but it wasn’t the most inviting looking food. Today (02/10) we went down for breakfast at 10:20 and breakfast is served while 11, the staff started to clear the food out as we came into the canteen and when my partner asked for butter, the member of staff shouted at her saying ‘you will wait’ this upset my partner and for the most part was the final straw, the pool was dirty and staff were rude, I could go on all day. We stayed at the hotel for longer than we wish we should have.
upon trying to check out of the hotel the owner confronted us telling us we weren’t allowed to leave, swore at my partner and was shouting at us saying she wasn’t allowing us to check out, me and my partner are absolutely appalled by the service received from this hotel our problems began as early as of May this year from us trying, and I say trying to get in touch with someone just to see if we were eligible for a sea view room as we are out here as a joint birthday present for both of us, after 4/5 emails with no response, we then got into contact and they told us they didn’t work with OTB. This set alarm bells ringing straight away.
I couldn’t recommend you look elsewhere any more than I can, the hotel refused to give us even a partial refund for the days we didn’t stay (On the beach did however issue us with a refund and they are now investigating further with the hotel).
The owner/manager of the hotel is one of the most narcissistic women I have ever encountered in my life, the fact she tried holding us ransom in the hotel and then swearing at my partner, I have never in my life been treated so poorly on holiday. The hotel claims to be 4* and charge 4* prices but honestly it’s no more than a 2* hotel, but with the state of the hygiene it’s 1*.
One good thing I can say is that the maintenance gentleman who came to attempt to fix our door couldn’t do enough, although his attempts to rectify our problems weren’t successful he was a kind man who smiled and said hello to us at any opportunity, the rest of the staff are to busy with there head buried in there phones to even care about you.
