This year ,I embarked on a first time trip to Turkey and decided to explore the city of Antalya .I’m Kenyan .I then proceeded to book myself a three day solo stay at the Four Points Sheraton Lara. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was met with a big and warm smile from Murat who checked me in and even offered me a welcome drink from Starbucks.( yes they do have a Starbucks inside the hotel) He helped with my luggage and offered to take me round and see the rooms available so that I could make an informed decision and this to me was more than a 5- star service experience. His kindness and willingness to answer my questions and concerns really made a huge difference.
I enjoyed my breakfast at the Aspendos Restaurant where I got to experience the region’s vibrant, healthy and tasty delights.
Every time I called the customer care desk, they always answered on the first ring and the staff present did not hesitate to offer me with on- time solutions.
The hotel and the rooms had a long lasting fresh fragrance and a high level of cleanliness which made me feel relaxed , valued and well taken care of.
I loved the Turkish hospitality and being from a different culture , Turkey truly won my heart❤️.
This whole experience made me love Turkey so much and the city of Antalya and I see myself visiting again...

Only after I reconfirmed that our check-out time should be 2:00 pm did they reluctantly agree. This left us feeling that the reception team lacked proper coordination and experience. • Luggage Storage: After checking out, we asked to store our luggage. Instead of providing a secure storage service with tickets, the staff first suggested leaving our bags under a table in the lobby. When we questioned this, they told us we could go to the basement (-1 floor) ourselves and leave them in an unattended, unlocked room. This felt extremely unsafe and unprofessional.
B) Room Condition • Noise Issues: The room was not soundproof at all. We could clearly hear traffic from the main road, even in the middle of the night at 2:00 am. After two nights, we requested a room change to the back side of the hotel, which was quieter. However, it’s worth noting that most rooms (around 90%) face the main road, so noise is likely a common...
Read moreDO NOT choose this hotel! The name suggests it’s a Marriott hotel but it doesn’t live to any of Marriott standard whatsoever! The gap between the windows and outer walls made me feel like I was sleeping on the street when I struggled to get some sleep after a whole day’s drive. Plus the staff here seemed really out of place. I’ve never tried in my life a “DOUBLED CHECK-IN”. I was checked into a room where there were 2 mobile phones and a bag of laundry clothes on the table…….just imagine how terrifying if there was someone staying inside the room…and after they checked me in into the correct room, there’s no portable water and it’s almost midnight and I was dehydrated...
