Kano Hotel — Hotel in Ortaca

For a detailed review of this lovely hotel, please see my review of 23 September,2015. || ||ACCOMMODATION: I have given Kano 5 stars this time as we were lucky enough to get the de luxe room no.10. Well worth the slightly higher price for your own balcony looking out towards the river furnished with a table and 2 chairs plus 2 sun-loungers. An added advantage is that it is at the end of the passageway hence no passersby. All rooms have aircon, bar fridges and towel/bather drying racks. Let me point out, that the other rooms are very comfortable as can be seen from my previous review.||||THE STAFF: Kaya, the hotel owner is an attentive and obliging host who will organise anything that he can to make your stay more pleasant for you. He phoned the river taxi’s to collect us from the hotels river front deck as well as all the private boat trips we took.||Hassan, in charge of the dining/restaurant area was always a happy person to be around. Even though his English was somewhat limited, he still somehow managed to communicate with us perfectly sharing many travel and other experiences, always enjoying a good laugh too! He was always there to lend a helping hand in any way he could.||Special mention must be made of Özgül – she prepares food and cleans all the rooms to perfection and we found her always smiling, willing to please and totally reliable.||||FOOD: We always enjoyed the Turkish breakfasts with eggs to order whilst the other meals we had were sumptuous and well served.||||GENERAL: We enjoyed every minute of our 10 day stay and highly recommend Kano for a peaceful, unpretentious holiday in Dalyan. For 2 of our 10 day stay I happily endured a tummy upset (no fault of Kano!). I really felt that it could not have happened at a nicer place! I contentedly lay on a sun-lounger at the river’s edge, watching the boats go by, reading my book with all the required amenities and amazing people right there waiting on me like the Queen of Sheba!||||Wi-Fi is free and the signal is strong throughout...

What a gem of a place right on the river and close to the town. Stay here in July 2017 a small place but wow the service was amazing and the people were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble sitting on the deck reading and then suddenly fruit was bought or tea or fresh water no charge. My partner had a his birthday when we were there so that night we had our meal at the Kano, shrimp,squid,octopus,blue crab all local catch at the end Kaya brought in a birthday cake and fireworks wonderful surprise.||Swim in the river see the turtles that swim right up or just watch the boats go by I can not praise this place enough try it you won't be...

первый раз были в этом отеле 4 года назад проездом, слышали много хороших отзывов о самом Дальяне, и Каnо Оtеl, в августе 2021 решили всей семьей приехать в это славное место и остановиться в Kano Otel. списались заранее с управляющим отеля, оговорили сроки, какие хотим номера, получили подтверждение от отеля, перевели денежу (и это была первая ошибка).... по приезду были сильно удивлены общим состоянием отеля (обратите внимание фото на сайте датированы 2012годом), так вот, ничего с этого времени не изменилось кроме как пришло в упадок. оговоренных номеров, нашелся только один, матрасы продавленные, полотенцы все серые, "каляные", даже мусорной корзины в номерах не было, замки во входных дверях не работали, один совсем не закрывался (только из нутри), во втором номере личинка замка прокручивалась. разговоры типа "... в Дальяне все спокойно..." никакой гарантии сохранности не давали. совершенно не прозрачно ценообразование услуг, завтрака, и главное оплата за все переносилась на "потом" ;) так вот, когда этот "потом" наступил, были неприятно поражены выставленным счетом который увеличился на 2500 лир, обоснованием служили листки от руки написаные неразборчиво после первых двух дней проживания связь и логика не просматривалась, выявили явную приписку на 60 лир (восточная классика типа двух бутылок воды вместо одной или блюды которого вы не ели). за номер который был обещан и не предоставлен, нашлась замена по цене, как выяснилось перед отъездом на 50% больше первоначально озвученной. за 30 минут до отъезда это был практически шок, времени разбираться с улыбашкой Кайя Беям уже не было...||Если рискнете остановится у Кайя, ничего не плати авансом даже если предложат хорошую цену, закрывайте растеты день в день, не ведитесь на "потом" и сразу спрашивайте, что сколько стоит, иначе просто попадете на деньги.||Этот отель никому не рекомендую, то что было раньше, то прошло, теперь это полузвездночный хостел по...
