Read moreWe stayed here in the last two weeks of August. The hotel was full yet it was lovely and quiet. Their was always plenty of sun beds around the pool and sensible options for shade. The whole hotel was always clean and tidy with some lovely little touches to make it stand out. The pool area was excellent. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was compact but perfectly fine. The kitchen area had everything we needled. All the 2 bedroom apt’s have 2 balconies which was nice. Air con (main bedroom) was included in the price which is not always the case in Turkey. Rooms are cleaned twice a week.||The small cafe area was very clean and offered a limited snack menu. Sybil, the owner with Mustafa, looked after the kitchen and is an excellent cook. She is very friendly and takes pride in all that she does. There is usually a homemade cake and biscuits available to enjoy with coffee!||Mustafa owns a nice new boat which is available to take you on trips along the coast, with the usual high quality bbq on board. ||Next time we visit, we will contact them on their website before we book. Mustafa is able to arrange transfers as well as booking other trips and excursions. The nice thing is that although he did all of these things, he never pressured or badgered us to use him for services.||In short, a charming small hotel with...
Read moreIncredibly friendly hosts, Sybil and Mustafa are the friendliest people I've met in Turkey and that is saying a lot. Accomodation was perfect for us, we had the west facing top floor apartment (not facing pool). Headroom was dicey as the ceiling followed the roof lines but after a few bumps I learned to avoid major concussion. The kitchen had basic utensils to get by with, what they don't have is easily sought in town for pence (up the main street opposite Bim supermarket is a great store for homewares, brought a lot home) and the fridge was brand new as was the a/c unit so no issues there. Bed was large and comfy, shower room was exciting (more angular ceiling action) but and had a great view of the mountains through the little window. TV worked Standing on the little balcony in the afternoon you're right by the flight path of the birds fluttering between the palm trees - a joyous bonus. We were rescued by this lovely aparthotel after booking a package holiday which sent us to a dump of a hotel so the next day, tired and stressed, we saw a few other accommodations but as soon as we stepped through the gate and met Sybil we had found somewhere special. Thinking about it now still warms my heart so thank you Princess of Özlap, may you have a happy and...
