It is an excellent place. There are many restaurants there with many options but most of the options are traditional Turkish food 🥘 like ( Kofte ) . Some restaurants provide grilled chicken 🍗 ( in Arabic دجاج شواية) which in fact delicious 😋 with rice 🍚. The prices are acceptable. There are enough number of ATM machines plus there is an money 💰 exchange which is very reliable. Trabzon traditional dance 💃 is performed almost daily ( talking about August) by many Turkish people of different ages males and females . NEGATIVE 👎: it is an open place but too many smokers which awful for non smokers . You can sit on good designed wooden chairs available every where in Meydan . Meydan is a central area for minibuses, 🚕 taxies where you can go to every nearby places in Trabzon with 2.5 Turkish Liras. There is a cafe in the center of Meydan as well as there is an office ( big one ) for tourists information ℹ️ very helpful. This tourist information center can give you good information ℹ️ and reliable opinions about the tourism places ( like are they open or closed)...

The center of Trabzon. All you need you can find around starting from cheap bazar shopping to modern burgers, national meals etc. Not easy to find a slot for parking in streets as area is too congested and limited parking space. Instead parking facilities are available under buildings with slightly higher prices(25tl vs 15tl daily fee, hourly is almost same). Despite pedestrians takes priority, cars, especially taxi drivers dont obey this rule, better be attentive when passing across.
