Gloria Verde Resort — Hotel in Serik

Arrived on 17/05/25 for fortnight stay with my family (2 x Adults + 1 x Child) to recover from a recent bereavement & found the hotel especially the Standard Twin Room we were in, to be a bit dated & surprisingly for a hot country, the rooms had carpet instead of tiles? Our family struggled to cope with the lack of storage for the duration of our stay that I must say was expensive if your travelling with children over 11yrs as you have to pay full adult costs which is ridiculous really (especially if their consuming a lot less food & drink |compared to adults).|My family had a lovely time at this resort and I can safely say it had everything from great choices of food during the day at the Neptune Bar (Chicken Wings/Burgers/Ceaser Salad & my favourite the different flavoured Turkish PIDE (lok it up), delicious with freezing cold EFES beer. The best daytime restaurant was by far The Verde (Mexican Style) and I can safely say that my family were treated like special customers here every day at lunch by the staff in particular RIDVAN who is very kind, polite, amazingly attentive and extremely professional & ensured each visit was special in fact I’d go further as we had been very privileged to experience the brilliant service that RIDVAN provided for me and my family throughout numerous restaurants since our arrival at Gloria Verde, RIDVAN please know that your professionalism has supported our every need and much more at a time when we very much needed this break, plus you are a very nice person who seems to manage and assist other colleagues and customers with extreme ease and kindness at all times so Thank you very much RIDVAN its been a pleasure knowing you, you have the genuine skills to exceed at the highest levels in hospitality, thank you and all the team at The Verde restaurant, great experience.|The main buffet restaurant had a different theme each night inside the building while outiside there was a further cooking service where you could order fresh kebabs of any kind (meat or fish) or like me, go straight for the vast amount of seafood on offer including whole Grouper fish or Sea Bass cooked over coals in front of you or if you liked, the chef would fillet any fish for you touch of class and wonderful experience along with octopus, shrimp & more tasty PIDE with firstly a cold beer, then on occasion, champagne (Prosecco really) that is also available from the drinks menu along with nice cocktails rhat you need to be careful, are made correctly (I watched a young girl put vodka in one of my wife’s cocktails simply because she cud not locate the St Germaine that shudve accompanied my wife’s cocktail, thankfully the best bar person in the resort ONUR came to our rescue on more than one occasion with his kindness and extremely professional knowledge of how to make all he cocktails on the menu to a high standard including the best Sour Satsuma with Dissarrano (similar to whiskey Sour) that even I decided to order after tasting my wife’s delightful cocktail - ONUR was also very helpful for our family while managing the Lobby bar at a time when my daughter was ill, he understood the situation where we cud not attend the evening restaurant on two ocassions and he helped us order and transport basic bar food to our room so that we could look after our child (thank you so much ONUR, your definitely very good and experienced at your job) and it was a pleasure to have received this very high level of service from you cheers my friend.|Another staff member from the reservations team MAURAPAY was very kind I trying to assist my family with a few concerns that we experienced during our stay specifically the horrible experience I received when I tried to play the Gloria NEW golf course during the first week of my holiday - Thank you MAURAPAY for doing your best as I understand it must have been difficult receiving conflicting information from the golf club that simply was not true and the matter should have been resolved as a matter of urgency on behalf of the customer, rather than permitting others to continually change communications, interfere and prevent the facts and evidence provided by me that clearly showed the golf club failed to provide me with a service due to the terrible conditions of the greens on the back 9 of their golf course. On that basis I will personally organise golf directly with golf clubs on my return to Gloria Verde.||My family also experienced great service while dining at the on-site French restaurant on 2 ocassions and although I didn’t get the staff members names , they looked after my family in a very professional manner ensuring we enjoyed both experiences with great service and good food, thank you guys much appreciated.||My family also booked over 6 x SPA treatments after meetimg the very nice MUHAMMET ALI who throughout our holiday and beyond, was very kind, understanding of our needs throughout our holiday - Honestly I would not have wanted to book a SPA treatment if it were not for MUHAMMET who then invited me to meet the most professional therapist ESEDEI whose professionalism and work on my back was akin to the best SPA treatment I’ve had since a previous trip to Thailand in 2012 so I’d recommend you look out for MUHAMMETT when your next at Gloria VERDE, thank you MUHAMMET my friend and hope to see you again in the future.||All in all I would highly recommend Gloria Verde because of the high level of All Inclusive food and drinks including breakfast, lunch and dinner available to my family during our stay where you did not need to Prebook an A-La-Carte restaurant to experience better food but more importantly, the service we received from the above staff members who were extremely professional and attentive to ur every need.||Gloria Verde resort as a 5* Resort is in need of an upgrade specifically their Standard Twin Rooms and the lack of storage facilities within these rooms along with the removal of carpets needs addressing sooner rather than later furthermore to ask an extra £1800 to upgrade to a family room for 2 x Adults & 1 X child is simply too much to ask of customers.||A very important recommendation is to permit customers the opportunity to Prebook future holidays via the hotel at cheaper rates so their not forced to book online via a 3rd party as it seems the hotel was reluctant to offer this to potential returning customers who like us, would have definitely pre-booked on-site to come back again based on what I’ve explained above .||Our other concern is the breakdown in communications on matters that should be managed and resolved by the relevant department as I had a horrible golfing experience that ended up with a member of the reservations team insinuating that it was my fault when it was clearly the fault of the Gloria Golf Club This lady my family bitterly disappointed at this horrible experience that took up almost 4 x days of my holiday before I ignored the insinuations and continued with the rest of my family holiday .||Overall Well done Gloria Verde we hope to return based on your attention to details, management and scrutiny of restaurants and resort facilities on a regular basis was nice to experience, well done guys, see you...

We had another great holiday at Gloria Verde Hotel in Belek between 10th and 21st of October 2025. This hotel is a part of 3 Gloria Hotels: Gloria Golf, Gloria Serenity and Gloria Verde. All three hotels can be used for golf holidays with shuttle busses and golf buggies depending on the distance. The Serenity Hotel has been recently refurbished and displays luxurious common spaces, spectacular restaurants and rest rooms. Gloria Serenity is a larger hotel that hosts parties, concerts and various shows. The facilities are available to the guest staying at Gloria Golf and Gloria Verde, except the restaurants. ||We prefer smaller hotels and Gloria Verde is perfect for us. This was our 3rd visit to this hotel. ||Accommodation: there is a choice between various type of rooms and suites. This time we had a suite. The rooms are spacious, with balcony and a small but sufficient bathroom. The most important point for us was the large bed with comfortable mattress and a pillow menu to choose from. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. We spent little time in the room so the “sea view” or any other similar amenities were less important for us. The noise insulation is not ideal but did not cause any major inconvenience. The shampoo run out one evening , we had to contact the reception twice for it (once in the morning but the bottle was not replaced and second time in the evening when we returned from the beach) and wait for one and a half hours for a new bottle to be installed into the bathroom. |These were little niggles but overall the accommodation is comfortable, clean and with all the necessary appliances like coffee machine, minibar fridge which is replenished daily, 2 TV sets in the suite, safe box and enough storage space in the wardrobes. ||Restaurants: There are several options available: the main restaurant, 2 a la carte restaurants that are available for an extra fee ( the guest using jet2 holiday company -which we used for our previous visit- can use the a la carte restaurants once a week free of charge, British Airways holiday did not offer this) . There is also a Grill Bar where you can have fish, lamb, beef on grill or vegetarian food, fresh salads, pasta etc between 12:16:16:00. Another option is the Neptuno bar (located near the beach) where you can have burgers, sandwiches , salads etc . Many thanks to the Chef and the Sous Chefs for their hard work and great variety, taste and presentation of the food ( I am sorry cannot mention any names but they became familiar faces in the restaurants).||Our British Airways flight was delayed due to an engine problem on Gatwick and we arrived at the hotel at midnight. We were prepared to have something to eat in the room through room service but (as an improvement from our previous visit) we were invited to eat in the restaurant which was open for us due to the late arrival. The menu was simple but welcomed after a long journey. The main bar (Zodiac Bar) is open 24/7 so the drinks were not a problem. ||The service at the bars is variable depending on who is on duty. Some of the bartenders are very good preparing excellent cocktails , others not as good and the cocktails can be watery (only ice in the glass rather than drinks) and tasteless. The cocktails prepared on the pier were usually better than the Neptuno Bar (although occasionally the staff from the pier bar came to the Neptuno bar as well). At times, in the evening at Neptuno Bar, we had to order another shot of spirits to add it to the prepared cocktails to improve the taste. ||The service at the restaurant is very good especially in the evening. One of the waiters that stood out due to skills, manner, style and handling of English language was Veysel . One of the best waiters by any standard. Thank you very much for making our holiday so much more enjoyable. ||We visited the spa a few times for hammam and massages. The service was good the treatments were also good but we felt that the traditional Turkish hammam and massage techniques have been lost, the experience has become a non specific spa treatment, where the peshtemal (traditional hammam towel) has been replaced by regular hotel towels and the massage technique are just generic and commercial. ||The entertainment was Ok, there were a few parties at the Neptuno Bar and a few live music shows. Unfortunately the DJ played only club versions and was a bit monotonous. Occasionally we danced on the next door hotel music that played original versions. A special mention for Merve from the entertainment team who always tried to engage us in games, take us onto the dancing floor and keep us company in between activities. ||The last but not the least a few comments about the grounds and the beach. The garden is very well maintained, the swimming pools area is clean, and the longer and towels available all day long. The swimming pools (adult and children) are heated in colder seasons. The beach is large and tidy , permanently cleaned, bins emptied and the unused towels removed. Loungers and towels are available at any time. The toilets are cleaned every 15 minutes , the security staff very vigilant. ||Yasin, the General Manager is very visible and approachable. It was lovely to talk with him. Thank you and your staff for your efforts to make our holiday so wonderful. It's been few days since I've came back to Paris after this amazing and magical vacation, after those miraculous ten days I've spent at Gloria Verde, with my family.||This is our third time in this paradise, in this place of perfect harmony and tranquility. Even though the stay isn't cheap at all, but it is worth its every penny. We've been to numerous hotels before, but once we've found Gloria, it's the ONLY destination for our vacation now.||And this year it was simply perfect. When we have entered the main reception, it felt like we had never left! |Thanks to all the team, new members and all the returning ones!||In particular, I would like to thank Kevser from guest relations, for her diligence and kind support. And there is no problem that she can't solve!|Yunuscan and Betül - you were smiling and always impressing us with those amazing drinks during our evenings at the lobby bar!||Dear Adilbek and Alsu (Alisha) - you were so amazing during our shooting practice!
