The experience with Rixos Park Belek is very controversial. Although we were ready for some possible inconveniences after reading previous reviews (i would not rely on all of them, especially positive, as real), it turned out that some issues are still surprising for Rixos level hotels. I'd say this hotel has nothing the quality of other Rixos high end hotels and is very low to medium quality average 5* hotel in Turkey.
We were "upgraded" from standard room with garden view to a room in the Oriental area. You can see pictures from the room and amenities. I consider it is a huge hotel management mistake to accommodate guests in the Oriental area this season before a proper thorough renovation of the rooms.
Thanks to the staff at Spa, animation etc they make our experience more pleasant overall than the initial impression from the hotel. There is no evening shows, but I do not think it's a problem - if you want to see show, take a shuttle to Land of Legends for the evening show.
If you go to Land of Legends, pay for Fast Track. Otherwise, we spent ~1h in queue for a single slide.
There's a Nespresso bar, then one day they say the machine is under maintenance, and the next day they say the concept has changed and there is no more Nespresso.
The housekeeping starts at 8am so noisy that you cannot sleep. The last day they knocked the door ~8:30am and told "checkout". How would you like this?!
This time I did not book directly, but having a premium Accor membership, if such is the case, I would ask for a refund for such an unpleasant journey.
Pros: the staff is friendly The territory is huge, there is space to walk in the evenings The spa and the specialists are very welcoming and friendly. Massages and sauna are great. There are different sports (I.e. tennis, football, cross-fit, TRX etc) in addition to standard animation activities (boccia, darts, volleyball) Rixy kids club with mini shows and discos Free transfer to Land of Legends and ticket to the park both alacarte restaurants are fine with food and service the selection of drinks, including alcohol is moderate
Cons: Room quality; not responsive guest relations (it took us 3-4 times and 2 days to inform and notify the reception to finally get a new hairdryer on the room); the beach is not properly cleaned. For example, a piece lemon was on the ground for 3 days in row. The sand is mixed with stones. Poor selection of fish/seafood in the main restaurant; Overall food in the main restaurant is the same all days; the staff in the main restaurant is not attentive to details (we ordered tea with lemon - got just tea, ordered white wine - got red); the service in the main restaurant outdoor is much slow and worse than inside; How come that 5* hotel has no phone connection between bars and reception? I asked in Grill and Beach bar and both responses were negative, so I have to walk 10min back and forth to the reception myself. very loud music at the beach area that is annoying during afternoons; very loud music at the live music/disco. It looks like you purchased a new audio system and want to make all your neighbors jealous! The bar is not that large and you can make the volume low, so people can comfortably seat at the front rows without deafening by loud...

Having visited Turkey multiple times and stayed at various accommodations, as well as other Luxury hotels around the world, experience at Rixos Park Belek stands out as the most disappointing.
To begin with, the hotel shockingly requires a €50 deposit merely to use a bathrobe. To add insult to injury, this privilege seems to be reserved for “special guests” who booked through Booking.com. How absurd is that?
During our stay, the beach area was closed for an indeterminate period. Construction work by an excavator rendered the environment noisy and unsafe. We were prohibited from using the beach altogether, which was especially disheartening for our children who simply wanted to play in the sand. There was no prior notification about this restriction at the time of booking or check-in; just a dismissive “sorry” when we inquired. You can not walk on the grass as well, but the staff apparently can.
The pool area was hardly a sanctuary, plagued by incessant loudspeaker announcements that obliterated any chance of relaxation. It felt less like a tranquil resort and more akin to a bustling public square.
No sunbeds available as well, lots of unused sunbeds occupied with towels though.
Service throughout the hotel was appalling. In the bars, the absence of waitstaff resulted in painfully long waits for drinks. In the restaurant, the staff displayed a lack of efficiency and attentiveness, often forgetting orders. It was not uncommon to request a drink multiple times before it finally arrived—if it arrived at all. No one cleans dirty plates from the table at the main restaurant , or even a coffee cup that someone left near the elevator was there for two days.it feels like Hôtel is seriously understaffed.
Coffee pods and tea in the room wasn’t refilled at all during 5 night stay, as well as minibar. Toothbrushes, on the other hand were added daily for some reason.
A significant number of employees struggled with basic English, making even routine interactions challenging. For a hotel that markets itself as international, this is simply unacceptable. The staff also wasn’t friendly or helpful.
The hotel itself needs a refresh - bathroom needs at least a deep clean as tiles look moldy and furniture in the room has a lot of scuffs and marks on it. For some reason they decided to paint something in the lobby without notice - awful smell of paint everywhere and allergy as a result. Water is the shower was lukewarm.
The food in main restaurant is cold, and at a-la Carte restaurant it’s cold and not worth 30 minute wait. Also cart that is used to bring food to the table makes an awful noise and it seems like you’re not in a restaurant but at a busy food court area.
In conclusion, this hotel is not worth a single euro. Spare yourself the disappointment and frustration—choose any other hotel in Belek or Antalya; it’s bound to be a better experience. Rixos Park Belek fundamentally fails in providing basic...
Read moreWe stayed mid April at Rixos Park Belek. (4 adults).
Hotel: Really nice, kept very tidy, staff on the whole were friendly except one bar manager who actually was quite aggressive one evening.
Sami at Guest Services was really helpful and provided us lots of useful information about the hotel. The hotel is also about a 10 minute cab ride to Belek City Centre and cost us roughly 300 Turkish Lira (€7) to get there but you may need to haggle the cost as some wanted double.
Rooms: We stayed in the standard rooms, they were clean and spacious and had a patio door which opened to a railing we could hang towels on. - Fridge had drinks but no snacks, and was refilled daily. There were also lots of lovely little essentials provided such as shower caps, toothbrushes and tooth paste, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, nail file, cotton buds, cotton pads, sewing kit, shoe polish, shoe horn, and shoe covers. You also have a hairdryer and slippers, but there wasn't an iron. The TV is not a smart TV and was difficult to find channels in English but we didn't watch much anyway. You can also get a robe/dressing gown for a deposit. Rooms were cleaned daily, although there were some inconsistencies on cleaning.
The rooms can be quite a walk from the pools or restaurants but there are buggy stations where they come every 15 minutes to take you where you want to go within the resort.
Pools: There is an indoor heated pool although we were informed it wasn't heated during our stay. The main outdoor pool was heated and was lovely. You can play with a ball in the pool and have floats but water pistols aren't allowed. - The life guards are great and really on top of things even helping with parasols. The loungers are comfy and we had no issues finding a spot. Pool towels are distributed on a card system which was really simple.
Food and Drink: Highly recommend the Grill and Mermaid for dinner, they were both lovely. For lunch the People restaurant is great, we enjoyed the cheese burger and pizza. Dilek served us in the People restaurant and she was so lovely and her service was excellent! The buffet was ok, the quality of food was not the best but the best part was definitely the ice cream! - The patteserie served some lighter options but it wasn't much different from what the buffet offered.
Drinks: Turkish Tea was great and we loved the waitors on roller blades. Some inconsistencies in the cocktails, some were much stronger than others. There are drinks fridge cabinets by the pool and beach, filled with soft drinks.
Entertainment: Land of Ledgends: The Land of Ledgends shuttle bus service is really good and its definitely worth the trip. We went twice, the lockers were 350 Turkish Lira but were spacious and you get the locker for the whole day. The evening show at the Land of Ledgends was also great.
Hotel activities are listed daily on the Rixos ap. There was also live music in the evening at the beach bar of which some bands in...
