Brisk Recreation Hotel Triangle — Hotel in Jinja

The room was dirty. The bathroom had pee on the toilet ring. The meny had lots of food that they didnt have so we had to change our orders. The meny said that it would take 20 minutes but it took over 60 minutes and then the food was cold. The pool was so dirty we couldnt see the bottom. We told the manager who didnt even look at us while we were speaking and he answered a phone call while we tried to reason with him. He wouldnt give us our money back even though we had t stayed in the room more than 2 hours and we had payed for 2 nights. He tried to give us another room and followed us to the pool and said that it wasnt dirty but clowdy. He wasnt nice to us just rude and behaved like he was above us. He was gonna make the waitress pay for our food aswell since we didnt want to cause we didnt get our money back. He has never even heard the word service minded and should not have a hotel nor a staff since he couldnt manage them like a human being. The staff was nice even though they had the worst manager...

I really don't understand why this property has such hopeless reviews. The property is aged but so have many tourists arriving in Uganda . This is a spotlessly clean hotel , very peaceful and quiet . All services are carried out politely and smilingly . The restaurant serves whatever you want with all your modifications . Location is right over the Lake Victoria with the boat cruise leaving right from under the hotel . The owner is always on the premises and keeps a watch over the arrangements . He personally spent an hour negotiating with various white-water rafting companies who were reluctant to take my son as a single paying participant . He finally cajoled someone to give us a deal . The A/C and hot water were the best we had in Uganda .||The staff got up an hour before breakfast t time and cooked a proper meal for us as we had to leave early . If this is not enough , I don't know...

For room 299, the air conditioning was just pumping hot air out. Maintenance couldn't fix it. The minifridge was also broken. The room was poorly maintained, a shell of its former glory. Some beds did not have mosquito netting Asked staff about WiFi, some said it was "down", some said "we do not have WiFi" although 3 of their networks were showing full strength on my phone. The owner gave me the WiFi login, it cuts out at around 21:30 and restarts at around 7:00.
