Oh, a quiche is a beautiful thing! ❤️ So good it reminds me of home! Good selection of freshly prepared salad with it.

Dropped by for Sunday brunch: large cold glass of watermelon juice, no added sugar. Served in glass with metal straw. Sadly takeaways are in plastic cups with plastic straws. Let's try and stop using disposable plastic, people! 🙏🏻

I really appreciate that Deli is allowing us to fill up our metal water bottles with the filtered water for just 1,000 shillings.

This is a great spot for a coffee or lunch as there are different meeting areas. Inside is great for a meeting. You can also sit in the garden. A little noisy because it is on the main road but it is the quieter section of Jinja.

Deli has a good selection of unusual I e cream flavors including salt caramel and (blue coloured) unicorn! They also have a selection of high quality gifts.

Deli has yummy selection of delicatessen items, esp meats and cheeses and European style bread.

The Deli isn't a place I go every day, but when I go there, I'm not disappointed: the menu selection has a good mix of Western and local treats, and the portion sizes and flavors are great. It's out of the price range of many local people, but for a traveler from a western country, the prices are pretty normal (around 10-20 € per major menu item, 4-5€ for fresh smoothies or desserts). The prices are probably why you mainly see tourists here, which isn't ideal. But if you're looking for a moment of calm and want to enjoy western food or the best of ugandan desserts (such as mango smoothies or ice cream!), then you will find these things at the Deli for a manageable price, in a way you can't find just anywhere around Jinja. Definitely...

I recently visited The Deli, and it was such a delightful experience! I ordered a milkshake, and it was absolutely fantastic rich, creamy, and perfectly blended. Every sip was a treat, and it paired wonderfully with the relaxing vibe of the place.

What made the visit even better was how peaceful and cozy the atmosphere was. It was the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy my milkshake, and dive into a good book. The seating was comfortable, the lighting just right, and the overall ambiance felt welcoming and unhurried.

Whether you’re looking for a quick drink, a quiet place to read, or just a cozy spot to unwind, The Deli hits all the marks. I’ll definitely be back for more milkshakes...
