Nile Front Cottages — Hotel in Jinja

Spent a night here and the bed was comfortable, the room has hot water running, dstv with a wide selection of channels, can make tea in the room and depending on which cottages you choose, you can even cook your own meal. The wooden feel makes it feel part of the jungle. The outside chairs for relaxing on an early morning or late evening add some coolness to it all. The kitchen closes at 9.30pm, so did not get to order dinner but the Menu is wide. The breakfast was simply tasty and satisfying. The waiters are attentive and ready to help in case of anything. The view on the balcony of the dinning is breathtaking. There are so many nice spots for taking pictures. The price range for a room is 200k to 300k ( 2 adults ,sharing). Room was clean, had everything for a longer term stay (small kitchen, small living area, bed, and small shower/toilet area), the reception area was nice, and the place has a distant view of the water. Though a bit disappointing in some areas - food was not good (Greek salad had no feta or olives but had way too much lettuce, and the fish and chips were cold), the room was right in near the common area so can hear everything very well and there is a cycling class on Tuesdays that blast music from 6pm to 7:30pm - I couldn't even talk on the phone or enjoy the evening view from my room because of how loud the music was), they were doing construction during low season which is understandable but a lot of hammering during the day, no pool or direct access to the water so one will have to go to the sailing club next door to...

Absolutely loved our stay here and is my favorite hotel in Jinja! The room was beautiful and so clean. My favorite part was the gorgeous decorations as it’s unlike any other hotel and design, truly an unique place to stay! It had everything you need from dstv, big comfortable bed, warm showers (which is big and has a waterfall shower head), fridge, hot tea, comfortable couch and gorgeous view of the lake.
