Galaxy Motel — Hotel in Kampala

I honestly don’t even know where to start—this place is amazing! First off, the location is great. People say it’s far from everything, but it’s really not. Downtown Kampala is only about 10 minutes away, so getting around was super easy.

Now, the food… wow. Hands down the best I’ve had since coming to Kampala. Every meal was delicious, and I honestly looked forward to eating here every day.

The staff made my stay even better. They were so friendly and welcoming that by the end of my trip, it felt like I had made new friends. When I told them I was leaving, some even joked that I should stay another week. That’s how genuine they are.

The rooms were spotless—cleaned daily with fresh towels—and everything was well taken care of from start to finish. The atmosphere just made me feel at home.

A small hotel but they were maintained very nicely. The staff are very friendly. When I was trying to get a bodaboda at night, the security guard came with me and helped me in bargaining with the driver for the price.

I left my cap in the room, they confirmed it and kept it in the lobby.

As I had an appointment in the visa office very early in the morning, they provided my breakfast in the room at 06:15 am.

The toilet was neat and clean. The towel, bedsheet, pillow and mosquito net were very clean.

This depends on what exactly you want. if you want a cool and quiet place to rest, this is NOT the place as it is in the middle of town and in the middle of two busy roads. Traffic it too much full time. This makes it hard to rest. i had a bad first experience as when i arrived, i was clearly told who my booking was received but instead they gave out all the room.
